This video contains two recent matches I had with the LV1 and LV2 GM Night Seeker Space Type on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 500-550 cost raid with access to the full power fedayeen rifle at 500 cost, long melee reach, good melee damage, a heavy stagger wire attack, great stagger accumulation, great mid-range harassment ability, high mobility, a small frame combined with a large shield along with it having a powerful heavy attack. Its only real weaknesses are that it has very low ballistic resistance and only medium melee priority, but these do not balance out just how powerful it is in other areas. This suit has been considered blatantly OP for a very long time yet has dodged nerfs for over two years at this point. Both these matches went really well but I had a few unfortunate instances of friendly fire with the heavy attack in the first round. I hope that you enjoy watching!
The Nightseeker Space Type can choose between a beam rifle or fedayeen beam rifle for its primary weapon. The stock beam rifle is pretty trashy and means you wouldn't have access to the beam spear, so the fedayeen is the better choice. It has 2000 (2500) power, 50% (90%) heat, 0.8 seconds cooldown time, 15 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap time, 450m (550m) range, 3.5 seconds focus time and 50% (70%) stagger value. The long range and high power of this weapon means that you can chunk supports and often force them to retreat from basically anywhere on the map.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 2200 power, 3 seconds cooldown time, 0.5 seconds swap time, 2.5 seconds focus time, 60%/36% combo modifier and 130%x3 heavy attack modifier. This has longer than normal cooldown time and doesn't have that great damage on its own, but it can do a lot if used in combos with the rifle spear. The heavy attack is decently fast but doesn't move you forward much. You must be very careful not to friendly fire allies with it.
Its first sub weapon is a vulcan pod with 90 power, 60 ammo, 450 RPM, 10 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap, 180m range, 675 DPS and 4% stagger value. This isn't anything exceptional and will take over 3 seconds to stagger with, but it is very useful to finish off enemies with or for if you overheat your rifle by mistake.
Its second sub weapon is a sea serpent with 1600 power, 6 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time and 100m range. This has a little less power than other heat rod style weapons but the heavy stagger ability is very useful to use after a stun or a neutral swing from the rifle spear. It is an excellent melee combo starter.
Its third sub weapon is a shield missile launcher with 400x2 power, 4 ammo, 300 RPM, 11 seconds reload, 0.77 seconds swap time, 250m range and 35%x2 stagger value. This has short range but excellent stagger ability.
Its fourth sub weapon is a fedayeen rifle spear with 2400 power, 4 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time, 85% side swing modifier and 160% downswing modifier. This has long range and excellent downswing power, making it useful for attacking enemies from outside of their tackle range or for using mid combo for great damage.
The LV1 Night Seeker Space Type has 16500 HP, 5 ballistic resist, 25 beam resist and 24 melee resist. It has a fair bit of HP despite its small size and good resistances, apart from the very low ballistic defence of course. This means that the ballistic heavy generals at this cost will nuke you, but your large shield and overall superior loadout for close quarters means that this isn't much of an issue. It has LV2 Maneuver Armor and LV1 Emergency Evasion for its defensive skills.
It has 135 walk speed, 215 boosting speed, 65 thrust and 69 turning speed. Its overall mobility is pretty good but 135 walking speed combined with the MS being small means you can be pretty evasive. This is especially good when enemies have to aim around a Jegan sized shield on a GM sized body. It lacks Flight Control but has LV2 Forced Injectors.
Overall I feel like it is about damn time for this suit to be nerfed. It isn't super overpowered in any single area, but the fact that it is still very good in any situation makes it too much. Its loadout means that it can easily clear generals out of the way without much hassle as well. What would immediately fix it would be if they replaced the fedayeen rifle it has with the prototype version, but failing that other nerfs would be required. Nerfing HP to 14000, increasing the reload time of the shield missiles to 15 seconds and nerfing the heavy attack modifier to 100%x3 might be enough to balance it out properly. If you wanna win in rated matches at 500 cost then the SpaceSeeker is one of the best options you could choose, assuming you have good enough aim to consistently stun with uncharged rifle shots. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!
