Per-Buff: It's ok, but suffers from the need to charge the beam cannon. Post-Buff: Holy crap this thing has so much more utility now that they removed the need to charge! I can snap shot better then before!
This MS is actually my favorite Sniper Suit because you can just keep shooting charged shot one after the other without overheating. The beam cannon's ASL is also really great at hitting slippery MS.
Excellent coverage of the Guncannon 2, I haven't touched it in so long, so this is exactly the video I needed to see. Definitely seems more worth it to use now. Back from the dead indeed.
So, the Guncannon II's Beam Cannon change would've most likely been in the last year or so, as I remember playing with it back during the Anniversary of like, 2021-2022, and it still required that beam charge. So it's a "Recent" change. That being said, I think you should've acknowledged both the range of the Guncannon-Group's Beam Rifle, and also the extra range of the Guncannon II's Beam Cannon, as it feels like the Guncannon II WAS supposed to be a sniper, compared to the multi-purpose OG. Was definitely fun on maps like Supply Depot, where the charge-range increase of the guns made it feel more useful on maps like that. Otherwise, I love the videos you do on forgotten and lost suits, and really look forward to seeing you talk about one of the "Super popular but not any longer" suits.
ay I rembember I used to roll out using this one! I just happened to start falling out of it in favor of other suits (my old trusty Zaku Sniper or Dom multi gun type), anyways, glad I got to know it got buffed somewhere down the road, good content as always!
Yeah, I've been sticking with the GM Cannon lvl6. I don't know if it's the full enhancement value, being dumb and putting max cooldown on the beam gun for close encounters, dumb luck, or the sheer audacity of picking something so off the meta because of aesthetics. But for some reason I can ruin everyone's plans from a mile away (pursuit stops, stumbling a 2v1, finishing off before s kick in, rival sniper nests). I actually have to wonder about that naming convention. If i swap the heads on the model kits...it really does make sense
The GM Cannon is very similar to the old Toyota Pickup Truck. Nothing fancy. But everything you need to get the job done. Even at level 6. And the naming of the two suits will likely always bother me lol
Another really decent suit that gets outshined and overlooked is the mkIII, My poor boy is just outclassed by so much of 550 but it's playstyle is so smooth I wish it got some love
@LilyBeta its pretty outclassed still, although it doesn't suck anymore, but there's nothing outstanding about it. Up close, it's alright, but the cannons are stop to fire, and it eats through boost pretty fast, and at range, its dps just isn't enough. Honestly, I'd just want something added to its kit, whether it be a new skill or like a discharge mode for the cannons like with methuss. As of now my boy is outclassed by better ms
@@quasideificalpaca Hmmh.. Was playing with *MK-III* couple days back then. Having blast at 600 cost in _Desert Map_ and at 650 cost in _Direlict Satelite_ map. 🎉 Still unsure if it outclassed that much. :3 Though, if it got _new skill_ it's a welcome one. 🎉😆🎉
I think it should be able to charge while moving but stand still to fire (even tho in lore that was one of the main advantages of the beam cannon but I digress) or behave like the gm sniper ii WD beam sniper, uncharged insta stun but you have to stand still to fire, but that may be a little too op. Then again there are op suits already so who knows.
These days RAID are harder to stop. Let alone the newly GENERAL are very _ABSURD_ . ( people using it like *Psycho Zaku MK-II* very quick ) More SUPPORT need better stagger effect that help breaking _MA_ skills . 😢
Normally im a guy who likes to say "You know what K9, I getchyu. I'll try this out!" ...not this time. Im sorry but you said it yourself, this thing just has nothing going for it. The MP Guncannon stuns and the Machine Gun shreds parts. The GM Cannon II has am amazing rifle, and it's Beam Cannon's are also better. This is a personal thing too, but I personally dont like the Guncannon 1, which honestly seems better then it's sequel. And if I really want to "F*ck around and find out" I can grab a weapon rack or high-level GM Cannon. Im sorry Guncannon II. It's not Gundumu...it's Gundume.
