This video contains two recent matches I had with the LV1 Pale Rider Space Type on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 400-550 cost general with amazing mobility, good stagger accumulation (if using the bazooka), long range DPS with the gatling gun and access to HADES mode which can temporarily boost your stats. It suffers from many weaknesses however, such as having mediocre melee damage, awful HP, being vulnerable while firing the gatling gun due to it stopping to fire as well as its already poor durability becoming even worse if you activate HADES mode. This suit (among others) was recently buffed to allow it to sortie on the ground rather than just in space. Unfortunately, despite its extensive weaknesses, it did not receive any actual buffs to go alongside this. I played the first match with the bazooka and the second match with the beam rifle. The PR Space Type can choose between a bazooka or hyper beam rifle for its primary weapon. The bazooka has 1250 power, 10 ammo, 6.7 seconds cooldown, 12 seconds reload, 1.7 seconds swap time, 375m range and 80% stagger value. This has low damage but instant staggers. It can combo straight into your beam sabers, your gatling gun or your arm beam gun depending on the situation.
The beam rifle has 1800 (2470) power, 55% (95%) heat, 2 seconds cooldown, 15 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 400m (550m) range, 5 seconds focus time and 15% (30%) stagger value. This has very high damage for a 400 cost primary weapon but much like the Gelgoog beam rifle, it doesn't stagger uncharged and needs to go through a long charge time if you want to instant stagger. This can make it pretty weak if pressured in close range so be careful.
Its primary weapon is a pair of beam sabers with 1700 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time and 50%x2 side swing modifier. This has really low damage for a 400 cost melee weapon, but the downswing animation has good reach at least.
Its first sub weapon is a vulcan gun with 80 power, 30 ammo, 450 RPM, 2% stagger value and 595 DPS. You have no reason to use this when your other weapons exist for damage and stagger.
Its second sub weapon is an arm beam gun with 300 power, 25% heat, 141 RPM, 20 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap time, 150m range, 705 DPS and 30% stagger value. This doesn't deal that much damage and has very long overheat time, but it can stagger on its own fairly easily. It pairs really well with the bazooka when you need to break through Maneuver Armor.
Its third sub weapon is a gatling gun with 115 power, 150 ammo, 514 RPM, 30 seconds reload, 0.77 seconds swap, 450m range, 1028 DPS and 5% stagger value. This stops to fire, but benefits from long range and high DPS. This is theoretically useful, it can chew through raids really easily if you get the chance to use it, but you are a very easy target while you are sitting there firing.
The LV1 PR Space Type has 12000 HP, 15 ballistic defence, 15 beam defence and 12 melee defence. This is truly awful durability, it is very easy to get killed in this if you don't build extra HP. It gets LV1 Emergency Evasion as a defensive skill.
You also have 130 walking speed, 210 boosting speed, 60 thrust and 60 turning speed. This is really amazing mobility for a 400 cost general, it is as fast as a 450 or 500 cost general, and that is before HADES activates. It also gets LV1 Forced Injector.
It also gets access to a powerful skill called LV1 HADES Ability Boost. This is activated via the touchpad and confers +25 ranged modifier, +25 melee modifier, -5 to all resistances, +10 to walking/boosting speed, -35% thrust consumption, +36 turning speed and LV2 Emergency Evasion. It only lasts for 75 seconds but you have absolutely off the charts mobility while active, your melee damage output becomes a fair bit better as well. The downside is of course, that you become squishier while it is active, your legs and head are also broken once the timer expires.
In conclusion, I feel that the Pale Rider Space Type is way too weak to be considered a viable option for 400 cost. It was sort of alright in space where competition isn't as fierce, but on the ground I don't see how it can compete at all. It has kinda trash damage output and awful durability in a cost where the generals are all fairly bulky and capable of outputting really high damage. I think that it was very shortsighted of the developers to add PR Space Type to the ground as is, it should have gotten actual buffs. I think it would be a viable option if it got something like +2000 HP, +300 saber power alongside improvements for the beam gun and gatling gun. I think that this applies to all the space suits they added to the ground recently, they are all far too weak to realistically compete in their respective costs.
