GCash Tutorial: How to Fix Paypal to GCash Linking Problem

If you have not been able to relink your Paypal to your GCash account, this tutorial may be the answer to your woes. This solution was provided by GCash Care through Facebook Messenger and so far, it has fixed my issue with the relinking and transferring of funds from Paypal to GCash.

The Freelance Channel me again! i forgot to mention this earlier but this is the first time I'll be linking my paypal to gcash, and i've been trying since last night, but I keep getting the same email from them saying " Your preapproved payments plan has been cancelled" seconds right after I've signed up for one. That sounds strange. Ok, just a couple of questions to make sure we're on the same page. 1. Is your GCash and Paypal account verified?

Nakapagverify na po ako sa PayPal after linking my PayPal account to gcash.na ilagay ko na rin yung 4digit code na galing sa PayPal at meron na rin akong nareceive na message galing gcash na paid na ako ng 100pesos kasama yung ppcode.ang sabi irerefund ng PayPal yung 100 after 24hours pero nung mgcheck ako Hindi pa rin ngrereflect sa PayPal balance ko ung 100 pesos.Klan po ba dapat marerefund yun?

I have a Gcash account that I would like to link to Paypal. how ever I saw this message under the "Disabled Preapproval Payments Plan = To protect your account, this preapproved payments has been deactivated. To reactivate it, reset your PIN". I already changed my Gcash Pin is what this message is instructing me to d. GCash is a little problematic right now. I am having the same problem too and even if I've already relinked my account, it's still not able to cash in from Paypal. So it's not really your phone or my phone, but it's GCash. So hopefully they'll be able to address it soon.

if linking paypal to gcash, it is necessary to link paypal to credit card first i mean i shoul be verified the paypal first in order to link to gcash?

Hi Ronel, you are correct. Connect your Paypal to debit/credit card first so your Paypal is verified. Once you've done that link Paypal to your GCash. And yes, you can use your GCash mastercard for that too.

Sir, do you another video in relation to having issues doing cash in from PayPal to G-cash? It will let me go through until confirmation and telling me that w/in 24 hrs it'll be processed but nothing happens. Keep doing this over and over again for 3 days but I can't still remit the money from PayPal.

I don't have a video for that as I haven't experienced that. I did encounter getting a message that it will be processed within 24 hrs but I did receive the amount on my account. Have you checked if your paypal was deducted? If no, is your paypal fund converted to peso prior to withdrawal?

I also have the same problem and there seems to be no solution available at this time. Be on the lookout for GCash update. I believe there was an upgrade for Android yesterday by I'm not sure if that resolved the problem.

Hi there, thank you for clarifying. To answer your question, this video is primarily for those who can't link their Gcash to Paypal and gets stuck in the "Close and Continue" window in GCash. The other video is for those who get an error message that says that their preapproved payment limit has been reached.

You can't directly transfer funds from GCash to Paypal, but what you can do is to link your GCash Mastercard to your Paypal account. By doing that, you can use the funds from your GCash account to make for purchases using your Paypal account.

You'll need to link your GCash Mastercard so you can use your GCash balance for your purchases when using Paypal.

Hi Misay, I have not tried cashing in from Paypal to GCash today, but I used Paypal to EON and it worked just fine. There is no advisory or maintenance notice that Paypal cash in will be unavailable in GCash so I don't think there should be any issue if you try cashing in today.

You're welcome. I suggest you setup another option to withdraw Paypal funds. I can highly recommend Unionbank's EON. I've used it for a long time now and I've had no problem, plus their mobile app has a lot of great features too.

Sir good day. Still my paypal says unable to link it to gcash, i disabled already my webview. How is it possible?

Hi Gelo, If disabling webview still doesn't allow you to link Paypal to GCash, be sure to disable/uninstall Google Chrome app on your mobile too. Then try relinking again.

@@TheFreelanceChannel Did that too po sir. I red all the comments here, parang may mali ata sa settings ng phone ko. Is it all chrome browsers ba ang unisntall ko po? - I'll try that. ASUS Zen 2 gamit ko sir, yung unang labas na ASUS.
