Awesome mahesh, thank you so much for clear explaination. I wish if you could show the firewalls configuration also or refer me to any other video for the firewall setup for Could VPN - dynamic routing setup.
Very nice video, I've one question. You showed 2 vpc on Google but in general consider I've sql onprem and Web server on cloud and need to establish the connection so I would use cloud vpn, in that context static routing is better option? And on onprem, how that gateway and tunnel will be created and handshake will happen? Current handshake works as you've ui to add values but in real time it will be different, please help
Hi @Learn GCP with Mahesh, thanks for the informative video. I have one query if the GCP network is extended over to new region say asia-southeast1. How to establish connectivity to new region? It did work correctly by adding a new hack route in static routing but not working with dynamic routing?
Has anybody tried to create a Classic VPN with Dynamic Routing? I get this error - Cannot create classic VPN tunnel with dynamic routing between two classic VPN gateways. Peer IP has to be used by a Compute Engine VM. Other Classic VPN usages are deprecated.
This is Site-to-Site VPN and Not a client vpn. So, no devices but the VPN is b/w two Networks. VMs in these Networks will communicate using internal IPs
