Why are larger batteries donominated in volts (i.e. 12v) yet AA batteries are in Milli Amps (2000mAmp). Surely they should both be in volts?

Is there a way to calculate the resistance of an individual component? I understand you can find the total resistance, voltage, and current of the circuit with V=I x R but what about specific components, also is finding the resistance of a component relevant for igcse edexcel physics, Could I be asked to find the resistance of an individual component in an exam? hopefully, I haven't bombarded you with questions, and thanks for the easy-to-understand videos, your channel is one of the few that provide science lessons I can understand without confusion.

how did you get 12V ??

You forgot something important. Which one of the bulbs is brighter? Which one uses up more energy? It's confusing because the one with the greater voltage also has more resistance. So you would think, if it resists more, it shouldn't get as bright. Like, there is a very high voltage inside an electric socket, but the plastic cover resists that, so when you touch the socket, you don't get a shock So does the higher resistance bulb really get brighter? If so, why?
