MPs paid Insane Astronomical sums as a part time job ? Hardly any debate in Parliament n many hasn't even gone near the mic, so bored till so many caught napping. MPs should be paid by contributions in Parliament even better by number of words spoken in Parliament; some won't even get paid a cent for whole year. Implement this system similar to ERP or Pay Per View TV. That would proof their salt.

The ministers paid a good salary is supported however the Salary paid for Singapore ministers is quite high. When they are paid like this, it compromises on the social service and it just becomes a high paid job in the country.
Recently, chan chun sing had said to work with opposition party. Now it look like blank Cheque become cross Cheque. During the election, PAP said they need the mandate to turn the country, to overcome the virus. It sound like very confident and competency if mandate is given. We Singaporean would like to see a good competency report rather than solider sitting on the paper.
How about revising the astronomical pay that PAP is giving themselves based on some Private sector CEOs which is skewed in the first place. The obscene pay/benefits that private companies are giving to their directors, ceos is the reason that makes these companies unsustainable.

PAP should understand that most FT send back their salary or use their salary to build up their own countries whereas Singaporean will use it to build Singapore! Opposition has a strong showing this year with tan Cheng bock and Lhy against them, people can't help but wonder why as there is no smoke without fire. This helps to cast doubts whether there is something wrong with our government. The opposition are also quite successful this time round in getting people to believe in the check and balance thingy. People are worried that if pap has the majority, will they squander our reserves away. Like what TCB says, he does not know what is happening to our reserves although he is been in the government for many years. Lhy, although many people didn't like him but as he is the son of late Lee kuan yew people can't help but wonder is there something wrong about our government. Then there were some Singaporeans who find it difficult to get good jobs. They might be able to get sales job, contact job, temporary job but this is not really what they want. It is not that pap has done a bad job for the last five years. But rather the opposition argued well. Managed to make people distrust their opponent.
