Anothar excellent video, as usual, Matt. Really appreciate the time and effort you put into these, on both the educational/informational posts like this, and the hunting ones, as well as the professional standard of quality. Hope you continue making them for a long time. Question - does the one-way mirror in the side-shot decrease the amount of light that would normally be getting to both your eye and the camera, since it's being split in half? Seems like it would have to, and therefore make the setup of less use in naturally low-light conditions (cloudy day, sunrise, sunset, etc.). Or are there ways to compensate for that? Also, I'm curious if you have seen any of the extensive Crosman 2240 customization and modification videos, and what you might think of them. The Air Velocity Sport channel has some prime examples. Seems like it might be a worthy incremental-cost way of obtaigning a pretty decent HPA air rifle - as opposed to the major up-front cost of getting a professionally manufactured one like the FX Impact.

Matt, you realize this gear has been used in astrophotography for ages...very neat idea to adapt this for scope cam use.

I'm sure you've been asked a thousand times but I haven't seen a comment or watched a video with mention of this yet. What distance do you zero your air rifles? I just picked up my first pcp rifle (.25 marauder) my optics won't be in till next week! The wait is killing me! I usually zero my .22lr at 50 yards and had planned on doing the same with this but figured I would get you recommendation first. Thanks

I would be very interested in the Side Shot but Why does it exhibit a upside down reticle and images that are Reversed/mirrored. This I believe is a OBSTRUCTED VIEW that for me is a reason to consider other Scope Cam Choices that don't have this image problem. A reply would be much appreciated.

Does RAR(Recoil Triggered Record) feature is an useful function in real hunting? The new Scopemate S18 has the RAR function, in some exciting moment of hunting, too excited to push the record button, the RAR will help too much.

ProCamera app you can choose which lens to use ( the wide or tele ) as you know the iphone it self always use wide if the light is low
