Couple different ways to line up your Side-Shot! Things to remember. We like to mount the scope clamp as close to the ocular lens (eye piece) as possible. Once you line up the camera, you can level your crosshairs by loosening the two 3mm machine screws on the scope clamp and then lift the whole unit up or down until your crosshairs are level then re-tighten them. Once you’ve got it setup how you like, tighten all the knobs on the back of the unit and you shouldn’t have to adjust them again.
If you have scope rings that are too thick or have something the rods are hitting, you can push the Side-Shot onto your scope and mark the rods with a marker and then take them off of your unit and cut the rods off where needed and then round the ends with a file or grinder.
