I'm super hyped for new Gears, I replayed 5 recently and it's damn good

My idea for a Mega Man/X game would be 2D(2.5D) platformer. You beat the 8 bosses like normal, but the Wily/Sigma fortress is like Dracula's castle from SoTN. There was a Mega Man X prime game in development at one point by Armature Studio(ex-Retro Studios guys) in 2010 but it got canceled. There's an article on Polygon with pics and stuff.

That Rock Band died for Fortnite Festival just makes me sad. It's a decent enough rhythm game, in a vacuum, but it's the worst version of what it offers and a bad mode in an otherwise great game.

How sensitive you are to 30 fps is very individual. Personally I absolutely cannot play 30 fps. Especially on an OLED. I can't even watch 24 fps movies and TV without enabling motion smoothing / frame interpolation because it literally gives me a headache On a CRT it's no problem tho because of the low persistence

For gears of War 5, I hope they keep the coop, unlike halo infinite. Garry's mod thing is weird. All that stuff is digital fanart models. If it's free.

You presented this story through the most positive lens imaginable. Like how a CEO promotes loot boxes as a great thing. You offered examples of some of the best received early access (EA) games out there and examples of players spending hundreds of hours with them asking for a refund. Why didn't you explore the other side even in the slightest? EA is a promise to improve and finish a game over time. Plenty of Steam EA games get abandoned. Or they stop communicating with their players to the point where they might as well be abandoned. Some EA games are given up on and go into full release without following through on expectations set by the devs. EA is a way to support devs and show them that you want their project to succeed. What happens when they betray that trust? Imagine buying new games with season pass deluxe editions but 50% of the time the season pass is never finished. You are effectively taking the stance that companies should be allowed to keep your money. You played the base game...live with it. The examples you gave are GOOD examples of consumers being scummy...they aren't a good defense for bad policy changes.
