I studied the pre test on math for so long, and stressed out thinking I’d never pass it. But finally, I passed my Pretest Last month, and passed my very last Test on the GED today, which was Math. I spent months stressing and rushing studying for the test, wanting to start my life, thinking I was being left out of the world because I dropped out in 8th grade. I had to wait until I was 18 for my state to let me take the GED. I’m now 20, after putting in all of my hours in just last year. My word of advice, Take it slow, and most important of all, stay calm. Most of the questions on the test were very simple to me, and way easier than the Pre Test. I used David Cohen’s videos for studying, as well as starting from the beginning of algebra, i just kept looking for what I knew, and studied what I didn’t in the very next lesson after. I sadly didn’t know much of anything, because I went all my life in my school years, taking what I needed, and didn’t pay attention to most of the lessons I was taught, and ended up scoring a 150 by myself by self taught learning, Don’t give up, and if you’re reading this, and possibly stressing over the test. You can do it, I believe in you, as well as the people around you do. Thank you David Cohen, you were a great help to me, and I’m sure to many others as well, it was a long Journey but I can now try to get my life started, Thank you. 🎉🎉❤
Taking my math online GED tonight, have studied with all your math vids, praying I pass this test! I hope the person reading this keeps up their hard work and passes their tests as well, I will update when I get my scores back..
Watching these videos for about 3 weeks and I took one of the practices tests and my score was 154! It told me I’m was ready for the real test so I’m very nervous but excited! I hope you passed
Took math GED first try and scored 141. Decided to find a better study guide and stumbled upon this channel. I watched a bunch of videos a few days before my test and scored a 160 this time to pass.....so thank you very much.
Thanks for stumbling me through this math test. Turned 48 last month and passed my GED today! Never thought I would figure this stuff out 30 years after HS, your vids helped and I Thank You!!
Congratulations! I am taking my Math GED test and Language arts test today, I've passed the science and social studies GED test, I pray I pass the math and language arts today*
I cried when you got to question 9. I wish all math teacher could explain problems like you. The concept you gave about the card reader/toaster helped me out a lot. Thank you thank you thank you
You are by far the best teacher on RU-vid imo. Passed my math test yesterday (it was the last one i needed) and was thinking about your videos and tips during the test. Honestly, you made the process so much easier. Thank you.
@@tashagayeross3035 i was stressed, too. Focus on things like this video. I know they are all different, but i had Lots of slope, "simplify", and rate of/miles per hour questions. Do some practice tests, too! You got this. 💜
Hello, I just wanted to say your vedio is really helpful and make so more understanding of math because I born in different countries and move to live here and math is really top for me. Today I just got my test results and I passed it 🙌 I want to say Thank you so so much ❤ 💖 ♥
Thank you so much! For taking the time to make these videos🫶 I passed my math GED test yesterday(which was my last one!) I made a 152 after failing the Sunday before with a 140. I feel like my first downfall with the score before was that I didn’t spend enough time or pause the videos and try hard enough. So honestly my fellow students just get engaged in the video! Pause the video answer the questions on your own try to watch at least 1 to 2 videos a day the longer ones and it’ll be worth the time you spend on it! I promise I’ve never felt this great and accomplished! Now it’s time for the new chapter in my life🥰 also for anyone that’s looking to give them self an excuse life is hard and there’s really never an easier time to do it I’m going through a divorce I also have a 18 month son who is autistic and runs around like there ain’t no tomorrow but I let him run around the yard while I brought my books outside and studied if you want it hard enough you’ll go through whatever you have to do to get it! stay strong 💪 and remember your worth it!!!!!
OMGGGG YOUR VIDEOS JUST HELPED ME GET MY GED🎉🎉🎉 math was my last test and I failed it once but I just took it again today and passed I’m so proud of myself, Thankyou so much David 🖤🖤
Thanks for the video! I have a problem In these graph questions, can you please upload more of these questions, because you explain and solve it very well.. I can understand it easily 🤝✨😩
I've watched a ton of other teachers on RU-vid and I always seem to end up more confused than before I started. Your method of explanation really resonates with me. Thank you!
Thank you so much for these videos! I passed my GED today! And I owe the math in large part to you. Now e of the other videos I watched helped me understand some of these concepts like yours. Awesome job!
You are a great tutor. I watched other people's videos on RU-vid but your way was easier for me. I passed my last Ged test today that it was math. I even cried after I saw my score because it was way higher than I was expecting. Thanks to your effort in making this videos for us. ✌👋

Thank you for all of your videos! I passed much higher then I thought I would in LA and Social Studies. My final scores were; Language Arts - 163, Social Studies - 169, Science - 172, and Math - 179. I might retake science one as I think I can get the credits.
@@alisaprice1514 I answered someone else on this and here is my reply. I actually didn’t use a true study guide. I watched videos like this and used Khan Academy for resources that I need to be freshened up on. This channel, Microlearning, GED champions , and Perfectly Persistent were the channels that I watched. Additionally, I also use the GED ready test to give me a general idea of how the tests were going to be. Oh, and I retook the Science one and got a 189. But this is how I would studied ⬇ Watch all of what said channels have to offer on said particular topic. Keep writing down what feels unfamiliar on a sheet of paper, then go to Khan Academy and study there. By three complete GED Ready testing services. Take one of each GED Ready so you get a general feeling for score. Continue this process, where you study one subject and take the GED ready test until you’re feeling relatively comfortable in each area, then buy one more complete GED Ready set. Schedule your dates (obviously studying right up until the point ), and the night before the test take the GED Ready test for what you are taking the following morning. Simple and repeat 🔁 😜 I was a homeschooled high school senior before I took the GED, so I took it to get my diploma as I wanted it. I would say make sure you give yourself enough time to study and feel a little bit confidence in the material, and even retake the true GED in sections that you think you could have done better in. I mean for all of us we will have one area that we hate, for me that was language arts. The paper is virtually impossible, I got 1 point for it. My biggest piece of advice, is to study smart. Don’t rush on the test, move on from the questions that you’re not comfortable with and come back later to them. I hope this helps you get a wonderful set of scores, and that you have a wonderful day 😊.
is the ged really not harder than this? or is this just the beginning and the actual GEDhave much more difficult and complex questins?! i am from germany moving to the us and currently 17 and in 11th class of a german gymnasium which is the highest schoolform here (there are three sorted by skill) and i did this stuff two years ago in school so for me this is really easy. so i am wondering if there are much more difficult tasks?
They don't give me paper for my GED tests they give a small dry erase board and I absolutely hate that is a pencil and paper to much to ask for. If so I would bring my own but they don't allow that.
@@laurencollette6966 hey Lauren, There is GED online testing that allow repeats to be done if you failed a test, Why don't you just do your last 3 GED tests online? that's so much better than waiting because covid keeps on affecting schools every time, and you waiting for them to reopen will take forever. you may take a look at the requirements on the link below. ged.com/blog/introducing-the-official-online-ged-test/
@@Forever-gd7vs I've wanted to take last three subject areas online. That's before COVID-19 came to U.S. and literally week before, took my RLA reading then it everything was closed down. Had strong intention I should take GED testing before everything closes. Now I could online I maybe done with subject areas, just several weeks of studying in. Like your advice, live in Florida it may change in States.
