The only difference from Nola and BR is Nola thinks they from New York and for some reason they don’t understand New York look at them as nothing but country bumpkins
Frfr i got aunts with different accents and em up in the same house. Same with my cousins. All from ascension but SOME of my cousins say "ya heard me" and that’s NO slang.
What is you talking bout BR is full of culture. The difference is BR isn't the tourist attraction and didn't sell out like NO did. Also historically NO was the only place that allowed "slaves" to still practice they traditions which is why NO is more flamboyant than BR in that way. But culturally they are the same. I grew up in Both cities. The only major difference outside of city infrastructure is the accent. But there are people in BR with a similar accent as well. I have family in BR that sounds like they from NO. It's really a creole accent not at NO accent. Look at Lafayette
@@jalenjohnson9705rip gee money when I first heard him talk he sound just like he from New Orleans/creole accent and his homeboy Fredo bang got a more southern accent/country accent but they both grew up in B.R. I never really understood why it’s like that.
