Gel Nails Fill with Lifting
In this video we are going to do infill for gel nails with product lifting on every single nail! We are also going to fix missing side walls and nails tilting downwards.
This is one of the most challenging infills in my life, definitely.
Have you ever had an infill like that?

😳🤦‍♀️ *Thank God she came to you instead of not knowing any better and going back to the nail tech created that hot mess in the first place! It also perfectly displays the reason that nail prep is **_most_** important of all, and how much it effects the overall set. They turned out absolutely beautiful! 💗💅🏻 Tfs!!* 😁👍

I will NEVER go to a nail salon to get my nails removed again. The last (and only) time I ever did get that done, the nail tech took a credit card and slid them between each of my nails and tore them off ALL of my natural nail was EXTREMELY damaged and paper thin.

Relatable ... Hear me out ~ I've always had pretty natural nails but my aunt asked me to accompany her to the nail salon and she ended up convincing me to get mines done. I had never experienced it so I thought "why not". They got to the point where they needed filling and I was in a different country, so I looked for a "good rated" nail salon in the area and went there to ask them for removal. They begged me to not take them off, "they're pretty don't take off just fill them" but I still told them I wanted them off. The nailtech filed down the gel color and then ripped the whole nail off with tooth floss... (~*internally squeaks*~ I promise I completely died inside but I couldn't say anything still, I just watch my poor nails fly off) 😓 never again...

Ive had real bad lifting issues with 4 different techs, had to find the perfect combo (acid primer + one specific brand and type of builder gel as base) to get my nails last more than like 6-12 days - they just peeled off. So i would never blame the tech, sometimes materials that fit 95% ppl, dont fit that remaining 5%. But this case seems different tho, bad prep. Watching the lifted up part come off was so satisfying here!😅😅
@lovelychaerin21

Can you tell me which acid primer and base you are using now? I tried so many but they all peel off after 1-2 days 😭
@mapofwhatever
@mapofwhatever 4 года назад
@@lovelychaerin21 my tech told me my combo dont work for some people she tried it on after me, and im just with these weird nails that like this combo... but here it is: Kinetics acid primer, Nai_s quick gel Builder clear II. Switch one out and i get chipping or lifting on 2nd week. Worst things i've had put on my nails are rubber bases (peels in 3-5 days, same tech, same filing). I can only suggest you keep note of what doesnt work, and work with one tech you trust and love. just switch up one thing at a time. If anyone can tell why this works, id be happy to know! 😂 i used to get back my tech on 4th week with naked nails, and i used to envy girls that had to get old gel filed off. 😂😂😂 On this video filing off old gel problems was like seeing aliens, so satisfying😂😂😂 Best of luck finding your perfect sunshine godsent tech and perfect products! ❤

great transformation! tip for stamping with gel. when scrapped and the pattern is on the stamper. put it 5seconds in the led light. it wil not smuch when stamped on the nail after that. but it stamps perfect. that stamper won't get damaged (hopefully my explanation is clearly because i'm dutch so English isn't my native language)

First, I LOVE that color polish! I think you did a great job on saving those nails, they were a mess, and I hope the last tech she went to see this video addresses what a lousy job she did. I just do my own, I don't work in a salon but if I had a client that came in, looking like that, is probably remove everything and start from scratch. Seems like it would be to much work to try to salvage such a mess. As for that one bit you had, interesting shape, I don't think I've ever seen one like that before but it certainly worked for doing the underside of the nail like you did

@kerrikordyban4930
@kerrikordyban4930 4 года назад
Acid primer can burn and cause damage to the surrounding skin, so you need to make sure to only get it on the nail plate. You shouldn’t really get primer on anything but the nail plate regardless but it is even more important with acid primer

@patriciagallacher6741

@@hammudles amazon does one called silcare and it's brilliant only 4£ too. Also all primers have a type of acid in them it's just with acid free it's like double sided sticky tape, acid primer puts little pits in the natural nail so that the product sticks better but it can burn so only put acid primer on the middle of the nail as it spreads on its own so just a dot on the middle of the nail plate will do.

I always point it out but I have had them file the color off and they just fill it and not take all the product off or replace with a new extention and start over. Then I freak out for weeks that i'm going to get mold under where it's lifted. I know I should be pushier but I hate to tell the technician how to do there job.
