Great video, very helpful. I'm not sure it would be ideal for beginners, though. I've trying to narrow down a mock up site, or going with an etsy provider. The issue is, when you have so many designs, I don't think you want the same mock up model etc. So, at the end, shopping at etsy for mock up will be a wash compared to a mockup provider like placeit. Gelato does seem like a great site, though.

Hi, I don’t get all of those options in Gelato in the free version? Mine looks really limited for some reason. Do I maybe have to pay for a monthly subscription to get those? Like when I choose a phone case, I can only choose one type (like an IPhone 13 for example).

Wonderful video it’s very informative. Is gelato non-exclusive? Some websites only allow the design to be sold on their website. Some websites are non exclusive like tee spring and red bubble is non exclusive so you can upload the same design to multi website. If I were to make the design can I upload the same design to different sites and can I print it to sell it at festivals and conventions?

My question on etsy and Gelato is: customers can ask for product returns (without serious reasons, as happens with physical products, simply because they don't like it, or because they got the wrong size, etc. This would complicate the process a lot... Or are the returns totally borne by Gelato even in the event of an exchange for trivial reasons?We in Europe, for example, have a very strict consumer code... the customer can return the product for any reason and this creates many economic and logistical problems Second question: I would like to ask you if with Gelato I can know (considering that etsy sells all over the world) the indicative cost of shipping that product and therefore be able to settle the margin FIRST, or if it will be a nasty surprise and will depend on the country and of the specific typography? this worries me a little. Do you have a video explaining the requirements for the images we upload to Gelato? DPI, etc and how we have to save the files and which format before uploading to Gelato... would be amazing to know all those boring but important details to make suure great print quality

For t-shirts On Etsy Listings, under returns and exchanges, what should be put there? Something was published but it went to the Etsy store in Drafts. Not everythigng is filled out so it is not published on Etsy yet. Not all the mockups that was choosen showed up on Etsy either. Could you please make a video on what to do on Etsy in these types of situations, please? thanks Does the base price from Gelato also include the shipping costs? Who takes care of money back guarantees?

Hi when fulfilling an order does gelato automatically use the costumers money to provide the product or do u use your own money to buy the product for the costumer? :)

Nice video. But, how to get that listing view on Etsy. I designed some products in Gelato and connected them to my Etsy shop. They appear in my shop preview, but when clicking on them, there is only the sentence "This article is not available on Etsy"

heads up to anyone buying premium the website constantly glitches worked on three different designs that didn't save when i was done.

I did use them after looking at your video and I lost my 40 listings and they don’t know where they went. So be careful before you use them😢

First sample I ordered from gelato got lost in transit coming from the Netherlands to Ireland 🤦‍♂️ thank god I ordered a sample before I put them up for sale or my own reputation would be in the ash. Fuckin shambles. How do you lose tracked post? So near Christmas too 🤦‍♂️

Their Woocommerce integration is trash. The plugin has 2 stars out of five. Lots of issues. They should fix it.

Hello, I really need some help with taxes on Gelato! I am having struggles figuring out the VAT system for my print on demand Etsy shop. I am based in Germany and use Gelato as my print on demand company but I heard that there are similar problems with Printify. Yesterday I received an order from Sweden. Because it's an EU country and I am based in the EU as well, Etsy didn't charge the customer any VAT. However, Gelato charged me with the 25% Swedish VAT fee. So I ended up loosing money with this order. Apparently Gelato charges VAT even on within EU shippings unless you have a VAT-ID. But if I apply for a VAT-ID it makes other things even more complicated. Does anyone experience the same? Any ideas how to fix this? I am thinking about just raising my shipping prices for Europe. I can't raise the product price only for EU, I would need to raise it for everyone, which I don't want. Another solution would be to simply stop selling to the EU but I am not sure how to do that in Etsy. Another big problem I see is that that Gelato just calculates the tax based on the amount of money that I have to pay to Gelato (production and shipping) so my profit is not included in this. Actually the VAT should also include a percentage of the profit, I guess. I think that could be a problem. I would be so thankful for any help from you! Maybe there are other European POD sellers who solved this problem.
