P.S. My dad is a printer & color expert. He works in inks right now. As far back as I can remember he has been using Lava soap to clean his hands. I have been using it for years. It's the best soap for cleaning paints, inks & all other media off your hands. Love it!
Love the video! I have been cutting up my geli printed pages into card backgrounds. My Special needs daughter LOVES geli printing! We don't get quite as many layers of texture, think ADD 5 year old with muscular dystrophy, but we get different layers of paint. she is physically 17 and will geli print for up to 90 minutes at a time!!!!! I made mine thanks to a previous video of yours. I think we will work with silver and shades of blue, and light colors today. After they sre dry they will be die cut into snowflakes for USO holiday cards. Happy Easter!

Thank you Lindsay for the LONG video ( didn't seem long at all)! I kinda quit using my Gelli plate because I couldn't get any cool prints. I haven't thrown them away, so I guess I can go back now and add layers. I really loved the Stampendous building stamps and the bird! Anyway, your book came out fab! Thank you so much for sharing!!
This video is making me excited to use my Gelli plate. I have a small one & it was expensive. You have inspired me to make a larger one. We have a Tap Plastics here in my town where I get my acrylic for cling stamps. I'll get the acrylic there to make my large Gelli plate. You have motivated me once again. I LOVE your videos!
Okay, now I NEED one of those book binders :) I love the journal...those envelopes are so cool. I don't have access to any nearby, but should be able to come up with a template to make my own. If you could do that I bet it would sell in your store.
Great video, love the idea of making prints and must try it....was also thinking this could be done on art journal pages....your pages are so cool. I LOVE your binding machine, I have a Bind it All and rarely use it, it is a little complicated, yours looks so easy. I see in the comments where to find it. Oh man, I wish I could find a binding machine like that for $20! All the ones I'm finding are $80 on the low end and $300+ on the high end. :-/ Really cute book!
Darn it anyway. I'm addicted to cityscapes so I had to buy the stamp set for way too much for my budget (but a good price for what you get). I'm so glad Stampendous replied so I'd have a clue to what it was. Stuff for Crafts had it for $14.40+$4.50 shipping.
This didn't seem long to me at all. I love all of your videos and they are not too long. I appreciate the time you invest in teaching your follower's. Can you tell me where I can find some of the "report card style" envelopes?? I think this is a great way to organize my husband's "bill filing" system, not what I call it but he does. Since his computer, desk etc. is in the kitchen it drives me nuts to see stuff spilling out and I love the idea of something colorful and NEAT at the same time. +Owen P. you can get the 6"x9" manilla envelopes at the office supply store and cut off the flaps if you don't want them, the dollar store also has them in smaller amounts

Yummy textures and designs. I didn't think I "needed" those stamps until I saw this. LOL They are pretty cool. My question is will Lava soap take off stains from nail polish? Hahaha. I think I finally got it off 2 days later but my pictures on my web site have the black in the cuticles still showing with my new nail polish design. It looks awful.

I've never tried gelli printing and only heard of it thru your channel Lindsay. May I ask, what are the "gelli printing plates" and can you use just any two plates, ie die cutting plates? This definitely looks like fun and I love those report card envelopes for storing receipts, important papers etc. I guess I better start looking at a binder machine as well LOL! TFS Lindsay

Is your binding machine manual? Cheapest one I saw was around $39. Could u give me the name of yours, or any more information On it please? It is consideed a comb binding machine right? Thanks for any help that you can give me. Love your videos!
+Susie Causey the brand is central binding company and it was a clearence deal on MyBinding.com years ago, maybe amazon has a deal? They take the universal combs you get and any office supply store so it is cheap to operate
Different subject: Do you use your Scan-n-cut machine? I bought it but have a need for inspiration and how and where to get images to print. It seems that the big industry these days is intricate dies and I'm feeling that I should not have purchased this machine??
I do but I only use it to cut images I have stamped. Try looking for dingbat fonts, you can fine lovely swirls, frames and flourishes and may sets are free.
+Ash s Vision no, it was back in 2011, it was a clearance item, I'd keep checking back because that is where you can find steals, or maybe even amazon. It is just a manual comb binding machine. It was a great investment as I make scrapbook calenders every Christmas and it is super handy fr that plus any size and material book you could want.

I don't NEED one so I can keep checking around and be on the lookout for deals like you got. I like the idea of your project to hold school papers or a monthly snapshot (artwork or a great paper or origami) from each child then when they get older we could look back. So many ways to use the binded envelope book. TFS
