Great explanation. I prefer applying them two mm from the cuticle and then go around the nail tip there with an e-file, to flush the edge. This way they are easier to maintain when they grow out a bit.

I have been doing my nails for years but have only done my natural nails since I’ve been able to grow them out long with no issue. Now with my new job they are constantly breaking… looks like this is my answer!

You are the first person I've seen in YEARS that mentions the risks of becoming allergic if the products touches the skin. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 THIS IS SO IMPORTANT and people don't even know because barley anybody talks about it. PLEASE, mention it as a warning in the beginning of your videos so people don't miss it because they skip some parts! ❤️ I've always been careful because I researched everything before starting, 10 years ago. And today I'm glad because a new friend of mine told me she did her own nails a while back. Her work was clumsy so she developed a reaction over night, blisters and pain. After that - she became allergic to a lot, if not all, of different acrylic compounds (she spot tested lots of different acrylics at the doctor). She can't wear glasses made of plastic, phone cases, acrylic - or polyester clothes - she gets rashes. Uncured resin/epoxy glue vapor makes it hard to breathe... Etc. And this is for life. 🫠
