A Gen 2 OU Team in Gen 9 National Dex was fairly challenging! Our Pokemon had inferior movesets and much weaker moves compared to the common ones you'd see in Gen 9, some Pokemon even needing to be mixed attackers! We had Fire Blast on Machamp, which was very common in Gen 2 OU due to the abundance of Skarmory and Forretress! This was very good in Gen 2, however in Gen 9, we can't really do much damage with it.

Raikou was the quintessential special sweeper with its high Speed and Special Attack. It was commonly seen using moves like Thunder and Hidden Power Ice, taking advantage of its ability to outspeed and deliver powerful hits to its foes.
Marowak, with its Thick Club, could reach the highest Attack stat in the game. It was often equipped with Earthquake for a STAB move and Swords Dance to maximize its attack potential, making it a fearsome opponent to face.
