Any song from this concert is great. This song actually combines three songs. His voice is working overtime! Thanks for listening and playing Elvis. 🎶👑⚡

That suit is called his Red, White & Blue American Eagle costume. (see Eagle across his chest) I know this because in 1973, I watched him sing this very song live via satelitte while wearing it. I was only 16 years old at the time & it was the first time I ever I "saw" Elvis perform. He was unforgettable & I became his fan right then. Fast forward to Dec 2022. After seeing the Elvis movie by Baz I felt nostalgic for ELVIS. I decided to revisit Graceland at Christmas. They have added 2 new exhibits since my last visit & I wanted to see them both. My first night I took an evening tour of Graceland all decked out for Christmas. It was beautiful. The next day I toured his automobile collection and his costume collection. We stayed until the place closed but when I first entered his costume exhibit I made a beeline to that very suit and had my picture taken right beside it as a momento of the first time I saw him perform. I'm an ELVIS fan, then, now & forever!

@JoAnnKlingaman-iu4lm I hope you do get to visit Graceland. I live in GA, so it's only a 4 hour drive. When I visited Graceland in Dec 2022, it was a joyful time as Lisa Marie was still alive. The Elvis Movie by Baz was getting praise worldwide & it was Christmas. It's obvious the guides at Graceland love Elvis & their job. They treat you like Elvis would have, like the loyal fan you are! They are excited & proud about the information they share. 1st time I went, you could only tour the Graceland mansion, which is worth the trip in itself. It's filled with so much memorabilia, photos & of course the Elvis gravesite that it is an overwhelming visit and after the formal guided tour you are actually set free to roam the site, unescorted at leisure! Watching the ELVIS 2022 movie plus tour additions since my first visit called me back to revisit ELVIS. Additions include a Guest House Hotel & a museum site located just down the street from Graceland. When you purchase a ticket, options to see it all are available & reasonably priced. I stayed at the Guest House Hotel, which was fabulous. The Museum site main attractions are the Auto & Costume exhibits, but it is laid out like a small village open area mall; various gift shops, rest areas & eating facilities along the way. You could stay all day at the Automobile Exhibit & Costume Exhibit. The first showcases Elvis autos, motorcycles, boats, etc., which are beautifully displayed. I lost count of things and asked a guide before exiting "how many autos did I just see" (about 80 at any given time was the reply). However, adding the total vehicles Elvis owned at the time of his death was about 200. Those not on display are warehoused & rotated in & out of this exhibit as well as travel to other locations for Elvis related short-term special events & exhibits all over the world! When you leave the auto facility towards the Costumes, you travel down a mall like corridor passing shops, etc. One shop I visited showcased other famous entertainers that attribute their career to the influence of or inspired by Elvis. Finally, the costumes! When you first enter the area, it's wall-to-wall Elvis displays of gold records, awards, videos, etc., that showcase Elvis the entertainer. You'll pass showcases full of rings, jewelry, wallets, hats, glasses, etc. All the Elvis "bling"! Then, it's rooms of Elvis Costumes, standing tall, encased in individual glass showcases. You'll be blown away. Like I said. I stayed until closing time. My sisters and I were the last to leave, missing our bus back to the hotel!! But I called em & of course, they sent a car to pick us up, just as hospitable as Elvis would want them to be. (Before leaving Memphis, we toured Sun Records & drove down Bealle Street. My trip back home included a stop in Tupelo to revisit his birth home. I'm lucky to live in GA because it makes the trip more affordable. I hope you get to go soon, you'll love it! Signed: an Elvis fan then, now & forever!

The Aloha from Hawaii Concert is a very special concert. This was the first satellite concert shown in many countries. All the money ( i think it was about 75 000 dollars) was given to the Kuii - Lee Cancer fund. I read that Elvis payed 1000 dollars himself. That was a lot of money in these days. I think you already know that Elvis was a very generous heart. It was very hot and his suit was wery heavy. I think it was all sweat. But who knows.... I think another must know is his 1970 live song Suspicious Minds. You can see how much he enjoyed music. But i am with you on any Elvis reaction! Thank you!☀️💚

Hi sweetheart , we only want Elvis reactions , there will never be anything like this 😍 Man Among Men in the history of music and performing, as well as the stage presence and voice like no one else , I saw him perform this beautiful song on 3 occasions, wasn't in Hawaii , but the reason he is sweating so much is First, the suit was extremely heavy that he is wearing , and then this is the first time ever an artist was broadcast live to over 40 countries, so we are talking lots of cameras on him I am loving the Elvis reaction to any of his music , no one can touch This Beautiful MAN Among Men and all I ask is you to Elvis singing Just Pretend and, You've lost that Loving feeling , as well as it's over, He did it all and look , no auto tune or fancy setup, we just be wanted to see Elvis. Thanks for the great reaction . TCB 1935

Another amazing performance by Elvis. He perspired a lot because of the hot lighting for the TV broadcast, and the 20# suit he wore. Thanks for sharing!

Loved this reaction too!!! I have subbed! I love how you love Elvis' voice, and performances. This show was taped in Jan. 14, 1973. But he also did a rehearsal show on Jan. 12, 1973. You should react to "What Now My Love" from the Jan. 12 rehearsal show. Also "You've Lost That Lovin Feeling" 1970 Las Vegas. They are both awesome, I think you'd really like them.

Just watching that brought tears to my eyes, it is so emotional. l love that younger generations can feel the almost spiritual element when Elvis sings. It will be 47 years since he passed soon and he is still loved so much.

(new sub) No, he was not crying. It's perspiration. The jumpsuit, made of wool gabardine & lined in satin is very hot. They were very heavy but people do exaggerate about the weight -- they were nowhere near 100 lbs. And while he had glaucoma, the mega hot house lights & stage lights were hard on his eyes. He had emergency in office eye surgery in the mid-70's & it's said that had he lived longer he would have gone blind. Trilogy is a medley of three uniquely American pieces: “Dixie,” (dixie are the states down south in the U.S.); “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” a marching hymn of the Union Army during the American Civil War; and “All My Trials,” a Bahamian (people of the Bahamas) lullaby related to African American spirituals sung by protesting folksingers of the 1950s.

He was sweating man, he put so much into a performance and the dang jeweled suit weighted about 90 pounds. He never cried in A performance. I have seen them all I been a fan since 1956. Now 80 it is still a thrill to see others react to him. There will never be another. Thanks man. You rock.

He’s not crying. That is severe glaucoma. He’s in a lot of pain. His suit is made with semi-precious stones and weighs close to 100lb, 140lb with cape.

Can you react to Such a night with Elvis? You can use the "music video" from the movie "3000 miles to Graceland" with Kevin Costner and Kurt Russel. They are dressed like Elvis and mimes to the song but it is Elvis' voice.

ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-asN0iLQCcKY.htmlsi=XrwSGhoquuSgoSzC check out Mystery Train/ Tiger Man from 1970. Footage is from the opening of the documentary movie called That's The Way It Is. The performance is dope, Elvis is at his peak. The movie is meant to document his return to live performances after almost 9 years of making 3 movies a year. He actually had already been back a whole year before this, but regardless, this is Elvis at his top, imo!
