Hi Adwoa, thank you for the helpful video. I am trying to test multiple conditions so I need different blanks on the same plate, but I can't seem to find how I can add more than 1 blank. Do you have any idea how that can be done?

Hi. You could simply treat your additional blanks as unknowns, and subtract it from the background of the corresponding condition. I am not aware of how to do it automatically with the plate reader software. Good luck.

Hi Yas. You will need to use the 'Kinetic' option when setting up the list of steps in the procedure. Please see 1:54

Hi Adwoa, what do you do when you a running a luminescent assay at 2 different wavelength ranges ? I chose a dual pmt but i’m unable to get the exact wavelength since it’s a filter based approach on Gen5

Hi Robert: Wavelength is a range, so pick the value that includes the wavelength range you're after. For example, for red colour, the wavelength is between 620-750nm, so you can pick a filter that spans this range. Orange colour is 590-620nm; Yellow is 570 - 590nm; Green is 495 - 570nm etc.

The purchaser of the machine at your institute will have a CD with the software. The software allows 5 installations (5 licenses) so track them down and see if there is any remaining for you to install. All the best.
