@@Random_Fanatic truthfully, I ment for adult cartoon programming. Second, doing you talk bad about Korra! She was going through somethings behind the scenes & the writing reflected that. Third, what about WordGirl, Class of 3000, Total Drama Island, Time Warp Trio, Static Shock and Codename KND?(stood forth and so on) Nothing personal dear- I'm all down for friendly talks about the best of the best
@@renec.holmes2415 Wow, okay lol Poor writing you mean. It didn't reflect it but alright. As far as writing goes I think Avatar was wonderfully written. Those other shows entertained a lot, but I wouldn't say they had much in the way of continuity. I grew up watching half of those shows, so what? I was joking and had an opinion which you don't have to agree with. Have a day *meant
I wish they had a whole episode where they were the main focus, they’ve all had episodes with Louise and by themselves but none together. They’re my favourite
I feel like that episode would be great. It could be about louise being in detention (for an explanation for why she isn't with them) and she asked gene and tina to smuggle some snacks from the convenience store. Maybe mickey could show up as the convenience store clerk
@@squiddyanimations6617 that would be perfect, I do want an episode with them bonding that’s not still Louise centric but I do think that would be a good plot.
i think the reason they work so well is because you have gene’s general ad-lib style of humor contrasted with tina’s unsarcastic deadpan. so it’s kinda like a double whammy when it’s done right. and maybe the reason they don’t have more scenes together is because bob and linda have that same style of back-and-forth.
I feel like the difference though is that while Bob and Linda have more of a back and forth, not like that they fight, just that they tend to banter, since even though they love each other Bob’s more cynical outlook contrasts Linda’s optimism. So Bob acts more like a straight man when he’s with Linda, and vice versa in the instances where he’s the unreasonable one. Gene and Tina are both usually on the same wavelength with both of them hyping the other up in their own unique way. Each contribute their own brand of weirdness but still don’t really disagree majorly. (Like how when Gene catches Tina eating cat food, he’s initially shocked but then sits down and EATS SOME TOO. Or when Gene wants to see who can fit in the high chairs and Tina immediately joins in) In other words, Linda and Bob contrast each other, while Gene and Tina compliment each other.
these compilation videos have made me realize that its extremely rare for american sitcoms to have the siblings get along by default. Bobs Burgers manages to do it and still be hilarious
That's what I love about bobs burgers besides the obv impossible shit they do they really are a normal ass family that ppl can relate to, I love that they can be funny without being abusive
Gene Belcher is one of the greatest examples of a middle child I’ve ever seen on tv: a socially awkward weirdo who wholeheartedly embraces his weirdness and loves himself for it, while being the ultimate ride-or-die sibling to Tina and Louise. As a middle child myself, I love how much I can relate to him. :)
I love how supportive Gene is of Tina oh man. They are seriously one of the best sibling dynamics in adult animation. period. Now just need a Gene/Tina centric adventure episode! C'mon. At least a GOOD B Plot with just them! And can we talk about how she's learned music likely from him? When he was banging on that pipe and he was shocked she got the song right right away! Like. THAT BOND. I love them
Gene and Tina are such a balanced duo. They deserve many episodes together. They're both naturally nurturing and kind, so they easily riff off and sympathize and root for each other. Plus, it's nice seeing older sister/younger brother dynamics that aren't rooted in aggression or annyonace.
the eldest and the middle sibling usually have a special connection besides with or all together with another sibling, I would know, as a middle kid myself, I'm very close with my big sister, who is the eldest in the family. Gene and Tina are the most accurate depictions of how this particular kind of sibling dynamic is. I REALLY hope the new season does us justice and gives us a ep of them!!
i think they don’t have an episode bc typically louise is the instigator and “the brains” but i would love to see the two of them accidentally stumble into trouble and have to find their own unique way of getting out of the situation. their solution would probably be much harder than it has to be but it still works out for them in the end
I'll be honest, I never realized how much Louise is the focus, especially in the movie. She's a fantastic character, her bonds with her siblings are amazing but gene and Tina's bond is also just as amazing. They truly do need an episode of their own, more focused on the two of them.
I love the Belcher siblings. They love each other so much and you just don’t see that on TV let alone in the adult animation genre. The whole family is amazing.
0:00 them supporting each other 1:09 gene being tina’s hypeman 1:32 random duo moments 1:38 WRITERS WERE OUTTA POCKET FOR THIS ONE 💀 3:48 The Belchies 4:31 Topsy 5:28 them being the most judgmental duo in the family 6:01 Sacred Couch 6:40 gene going to tina for protection
this show is just ridiculously amazing. the comedy is top notch, it actually makes me laugh out loud but it’s never by making fun of anyone or any group or by being inappropriate or raunchy. it’s just. genuinely. funny. all the jokes and set ups for the jokes feel like they’re things you’d naturally laugh at while just hanging out with friends and family. this family loves each other to pieces, flaws, quirks and all. and they always have each other’s backs. they’re all just good people at heart. plus they’re relatable as HELL. i could go on. i just adore this show and always will.
Love these, but gotta throw in my favorite: The kids desperately trying to fill an empty pool with their own spit so they can swim, but Gene has no spit, so he asks Tina to help by spitting into his mouth. Gene: "You missed! Try again!"
Thank you for making a Tina and Gene compilation. They make for a great forgotten dynamic. Much material for all three, the two sisters, and the two youngest siblings, but this one was probably the hardest to do and the most fun to watch.
Another one of my favorite moments between them is in that episode where Louise adopts an spider, and they show a flashback of them being scared of Louise smashing things
Tina’s constant fluctuations between teen neuroticism and teen fantasy/delusion pairs so fucking perfectly with Gene’s puppy dog level emotional support. He’s a perfect yes-man for her
I do love them as a duo,and I wish they'd get more screen time. But since their relationship is already so good,I just can't see a conflict between them to carry a whole episode. Still,I love their dynamic.
I really want a big episode of Tina and Gene in the center, focusing on the pair together that leads to a wholesome sibling bond without anyone else involved, the same way Louise has with one of her siblings separately, like when Louise and Gene tried to run away from Logan and Louise getting involved in Tina’s Girl Scouts or the episode they compete in a go-kart racing. So no Louise being featured, more featured in a B plot, maybe even a C plot to give her a break from having the most attention like in recent seasons and movie.
wow, ive been watching this show from the beginning and it just hit me that tina is really putting out some original velma dinkley vibes...if she ever crawls on the floor and says, 'i can't see without my glasses' i dont think i will ever be able to pick my jaw up off the floor
Gene and Tina were always the best duo together because they had so much support of each other I always loved them both together. Yes I also love Louise because she’s me inside my head but Tina and Gene are iconic duo💙🤘🏼
