When seamen Clarence (Frank Sinatra) & Joe (Gene Kelly) earn a 4 day pass, Clarence begs Joe, “the sea wolf”,” to help him find a girl. Joe reluctantly agrees but when they’re forced to take a little boy home, they both fall for his aunt Suzy (Kathryn Grayson).
When they accidentally chase off a man and her chance at stardom, they have to scramble to help make her dreams come true.
