@@SwornSon dishonored's gameplay is not that similair to call it a "worse/better version" of thief games, it's very different, like both have stealth and both are immersive sims but that's about it
@@WalkSkyWalker I haven't watched an ad in about 6 years because of AdBlock, which doesn't cost me a dime. And just a few months ago I started using SponsorBlock as well, which automatically skips over in-video sponsor ads. That is also free. So the fact that you are paying not to see ads when you could achieve the same thing for free means RU-vid Premium is objectively not a good purchase.

Forgot that Gene Rain existed. The game itself was mediocre and would have been passable if it didn't cost $25. Didn't even know it even got a sequel. There was barely any "word of mouth" from the game compared to the first one. Guess that's what happens when you make a sequel of a game that only like, 10 people liked.
Gene Rain is a bargain bin chinese game, what did you expect lol literally the highest score the first game got was a 7 from IGN China (yep), where the reviewer praised the graphics saying that theybare on par with "Uncharted and Gears of War" lmao Though the sequel is atleast *slightly* better (atleast the final boss wasn't annoying) but that's not saying much. Also, the first game is available on the PS4 and Xbox One, though the PS4 version was delisted from every PS Store minus the NA one for some reason. Guess it's a factor on why the sequel was localised to the Xbox and PC but not for PS4.

Also, Gene Rain should NOT have been $25. I've play low budget chinese games like Hidden Dragon Legend and such that were more acceptable for their price than this. Heck, for PS4 players, they could easily buy Uncharted 4, Yakuza 0 or even EDF for just $5 less lol i remember seeing a critic called Gamepitt defending it. He also said that he thought the game was PS exclusive because sony provided funds for the game. If that's the case, then it seems Sony wasn't impressed with the end result.
@@IAmCaligvla there are some good ones like ANNO, FIST, Icey, and gunfire reborn, but yeah, most of them range from mediocre to pretty bad because they usually emphatize more on gaslighting us into thinking that the game is cooler than it is. Still, would rather play them over any western-made shovelware solely because of how laughably entertaining thay can be at times lol

I really enjoyed how the developers just...downscaled PC and the NPCs where they're like kid-size? It's obvious in the COMIC SANS GUNS section, everyone's at most half the height of the doors.
