Thank you again Gavin! Your work is much appreciated.. Love your use of the Tachometer as well as the sound and power meters! All of those and your testing really gives us some good insight to the capabilities!! Thank You Sir!!!

Your review of this generator is the sole reason I bought the generac 3000i. I needed to provide power to an open field where I was getting married for the music and it needed to be quiet. Once I heard how quiet it was in the video I was sold. For anyone questioning how loud this is, you really can have a normal conversation with it running right next to you. Thanks for the great work!!

Great video! If they ever add even a manual bubble fuel gauge and nix the USB ports and add a 12V cigarette lighter style plug in, I`m all in for one of these. If a iPower beats them to the punch, I will buy theirs. I`m suprised they haven`t. I would prefer though if A iPower makes one similar that they go with the Yamaha powered one like the smaller one at Costco. It seams one these things get over 2200-2500, most jump way up over 3000 and get very heavy. Thanks Gavin.

Thanks for review....I want to run a 13,500 BTU RV air conditioner and a 1500 W heater in the cooler weather. I was highly considering the champion 2500 W generator but I think it might come off just a little short on power for what I need......I am a senior citizen and I do appreciate the lighter weight and a champion is 20 pounds lighter.....Seems like you always have to sacrifice somewhere

I have 2 Generac GP3000i and I parallel them together the issue with this model is Generac does not make a high altitude kit for these so for every 1000 feet of altitude you go up you lose 3.5 % of your wattage and in my case I'm always at 4000 to 5000 feet in altitude which greatly reduces my wattage, so is there an aftermarket kit for this model? otherwise I will be selling mine and moving on to something that does have a high altitude kit. Generac should be labeling there boxes that they do not have a high altitude kit for this model
