Okay, I think I will get one in October. That's just about what I need to run a 75 amps inverter DC welder. It has to have a 20 amp receptacle. If I set the welder on 75 amps, it will use about 2350 watts. The battery charger function of the Aims inverter / charger takes 830 watts. So that's about 30% of full load. So A pint of gas will give me a winter time charge up on the Twenty batteries. If it comes a blizzard that might be a pretty good thing to have. I will save up for one of these. Thanks for the review. I will feel a lot more prepared for winter after I have it here. And I can put it and the welder in the pickup and weld about anywhere. I can get one in about 6 weeks I think. I want to get one as soon as I can before the winter comes and everybody wants one. This will be a great addition to my off grid solar in case it needs a little help this winter. I've been looking at generators for a year, but this seems to have about everything it needs to. Handy and portable. That is a help sometimes. I think it will be nice to have. One less thing to worry about, which one. My uncle is going to say, "that's a nice generator...how much was it? "

I have one and they are awesome!! It will run my a/c unit on the boat. And the 30 amp twist lock is nice, don’t need any additional adapters to connect to the 30 amp cord for the boat.
The unit looks nice and compact. But, I wish these Gen Co's would drop this 1/4 power nonsense when giving out fuel capacity. Very few people intend to run these units at 1/4 power.
Oh no! Another generator up for contention on which one to buy in the spring. I was pretty much all decided upon buying another igen2200 to go with my other one when I needed the extra power. But, for $800 and only 60 pounds, this may be for me. Can't wait for you to test it out so I can decide what to do.
@@GeneratorReviews I'm looking forward to the load test as well. I have the Northern Tool Powerhorse 3500. It runs my 15K BTU AC in my RV with no issues. only issue is the weight. This GP3300i weighs in 40 lbs less. If it will run my AC I'm sold.

I think this might be the closest contender even though this one has 100 more starting watts that just levels the playing field for the Honda, so yes I will be testing it against the Honda eu3200i. Regards…
I would like to see you do a test with any of these generators at full power or close to full power! Check fuel consumption, how loud [Db], and power peak at the beginning/ middle and the end of the run. And how long they can run at full power on a tank of fuel.
Well I bought a Winco Lil Dog, 2400 running, 3000 surge single phase, with a GC 160 Honda engine. I got to wondering about running an inverter welder off an inverter generator. The store where I bought it was slow that week so he marked it down from $940 to $778. I said, load it in my pickup. The amps are 17.5 running, and 20 surge. It starts really easily, I'll be breaking it in tomorrow. It weighs 68 pounds.
I’ve got the iq3500 around the 5000 hour mark .. it’s been awesome only problem I’ve had was the original battery went dead sitting and it wouldn’t recharge the next session… I would love to see the gp3300 side by side with the iq3500 thinking I’ll go to the 3300 as I never use the whole potential from my 3500 that 3300 looks way nicer to move around
At only 1 gallon of fuel capacity that is to small for any long duration at full load. I've also heard people complaining about the rear exhaust port melting the plastic grate and the carbon getting all over the back.
I guess with the compact size and the larger engine to accommodate the 3k watts fuel tank is limited to 1 gallon Plus I ran the gp3000i for 4 days I never noticed anything on the back melting Thanks Shane I appreciate your feedback Keep them coming buddy 👍🏾

Thanks for watching I do recommend using the magnetic dip stick it will help with the metal flake in the oil If you search for the magnetic dipstick for a 3000I and the 3300I will be the exact same one

I'm the Imelda Marcos of generators. If you actually plan to use a generator, and not just look at it and play with it, do yourself a HUGE favor and get a Honda. They are not the cheapest, but when you need them, they run AND you can get them repaired. The low cost is quickly forgotten when your generator will no longer start and you can't get it repaired.
Don't buy it I have it and is a nightmare the generator, very unreelable and GENERAC customer service is very poor, last failure only after 88 running Hrs. it took over 3 month to Generac to fix.
