Ha….and I just found your favorite generator, times 2 !! I think for this model, I would get 1 and then see how it does up at altitude. Probably about 10500feet is the highest we would be going. Much higher than that, the aspen trees thin out. Well, most trees will start thinning out as about 11500ft is tree line in CO. Safe travels!
Thanks Gavin. That was well done. My 3000w generac is different I guess but that’s not your issue. I have the iq3500 which is actually a 3000w as I said. I like it a lot and it’s very quiet. It says clean every 100 hours. At 96 hours it shut of. Time to not be a slacker.
Do you know why Honda says you can only parallel a 2200i to a 2000i with certain serial numbers? I know Honda has said you can’t do a lot of things when it comes to paralleling two generators ( two different sizes) but people do it all the time and it works just fine. Thanks. New subscriber!
I can tell you. I have two eu2000's that are at least 10 years old that parallel well together. But they are old enough that I'm not suppose to parallel them with my old 2000's. They tell you how far back you can go in the owner's manuals.
Yes! If both generators are parallel capable they can be different sizes or different brands. It works best when they’re close in power output range but the brand doesn’t matter.
@@jazzsounds8159 I would get the one 3800. Yes you can parallel the two firman but that’s two maintenance you gotta worry about. Just my opinion, plus the 3800 are so much quieter under a load than the 2000w gens. The two firman gets you 3200w paralleled The 3800w will give you 3400w running
Where did you get the fireman parallel kit. I been trying to find one for my champion generator inverter., with no luck. They have been on back order for awhile. They don’t know when they’ll get more. Now will the fireman also work two champion generator?
