the only reason he does that is because his chest was crushed and he has robotic asthma, otherwise he could take on 5 jedi masters and kill all of them, like in 2003 clone wars
@@Orbital566 Sadly... 'cause in Clone Wars he was a perfect antagonist, a genius who would always think straight and win in the end weather it failed or not. Then they sadly made it so he couldn't fight more then a clone.
I would love to see an Adult animated series simply titled "Grievous." It would chronicle Grievous's past life as a leader of his tribe. Make it a 6-episode event. I would love to see it in 2D, not that Clone Wars 3D animation (I'm sick of it. Sure, it looks crisp and sleek, but I want something new). Show his relationship with Dooku, and how he slowly believes the lies on how the Jedi are responsible for bombarding his planet. Then end the show on a cliffhanger with him killing his first Jedi on Geonosis. Maybe even make him look at Anakin and Obi-wan fighting in the distance in the pit, with him hiding in the shadows. Make it for teenage audiences, so that way adults can watch it as well. Keep the Clone Wars brutality in it. Make General Grievous a broken character, but one full of hate and anger towards the Jedi. Would pay a million bucks to see that.
The only thing that prevented grievous from becoming sith was the lack of force sensitivity. But it did not stop him from being one of the Jedi's greatest foes.
Grevioys may have not had the force but his ability to mimic any moveset almost perfectly in a few seconds of seeing it made him extremely dangerous and he cannonically scared Mace Windu because of Windu's fighting style which was unique to him and when Windu faced off against Grevious, Grevious started to copy the moveset almost perfectly which terrified Windu
0:28 Genuinely one of my favourite pieces from the Prequels. Williams did not need to go that hard for a simple scene of Grievous travelling and making a Teams call with his boss.
“Its just a random general thats gonna die later in the movie and has barely any relevance to the plot, you dont have to make his theme go ridiculously hard or anything” John Williams:
2003 grievous: how many Jedi did you kill with 2 lightsabers 2008 grievous: do blasters count if they do then 2 ish Revenge of the Sith grievous: you guys killed Jedi? *facepalm* 2003 grievous: you all are pathetic, I killed 3 when I first made my debut to the Jedi
-Did you ever hear the tragedy about Darth Sand the youtuber? -Yeah a million times already! -I thought you did not. Darth Sand was the dark lord of the sand, he could infulence the midiclorians to create…sand, unfortunatly sand got everywhere in his house, consumed by rage he became an evil sith lord
I had a playlist of star wars music and this was the first one on the list. Coming back to listen I thought to myself “hey where did the grievous theme go?” Good thing you used the exact same thumbnail lol
Hell yeah bro all his versions sick and badass as hell, 2003 version of him was the most menacing of all, barley talked, eyes never blinked and got off his target, star wars turns into a horror series if you get chased by this silent powerhouse.
i agree, i wouldve liked a mix between the 2003 and 2007 clone wars version because i like the voice better in the newer version, but i like his power in 2003 version.
Makes you wonder what Grievous would think of the age of the Empire? He was ultimately a tool to be manipulated by Dooku and Sidious, but in the end he got what he wanted.
@@firetools even though his disfigurement, reconstruction, and vendetta were all calculation the Sith had made, Grievous' hate was genuine he'd probably say "Worth it!"
“Hello There” “General Kenobi, you are a bold one” “Back away! I will deal with this Jedi slime myself!” “Your move” “You fool! I have been trained in your Jedi arts, by Count Dooku!”
You know, we make fun of canon Grievous a lot for his cowardice and other quirks compared to the beast he was in Legends. But keep in mind this is like the only character in canon who is specifically not a Force user and yet tries to fight Jedi with lightsabers in close combat. He’s always gonna be on the back foot with how busted the Force is especially in melee combat, so really you can’t fault the guy for knowing when to cut his losses and retreat or play dirty since he’s virtually always the underdog in a fight due to being at a inherent disadvantage against Force users. It’s already impressive enough he can put up a good fight and gain a reputation as a “Jedi Killer”.
What if Grievous escaped Utapau for Mustafar and then Anakin tried to kill Grievous and the other separatists and then Grievous and Obi-wan team up to fight Anakin on Mustafar?
