Hi thx for the video!!.... but about automatic translation .... when you input the api ... the whole site is translated. you can turn it of otherwise every time someone visits the site it will call the api ...you can switch it on when you have made changes i quess?

TranslatePress only retrieves the translation upon the first visit. Then, it stores it on your own server so it doesn't have to keep calling API each time someone visits that page. When you make changes in the original language, the automatic translation will happen, again, when you first visit that specific page after the change (and not every time that page is visited).

Hi. Question. I saw so many reviews saying that DeepL API Pro doesn't work with Elements. Do you know something about it?

We haven't had any complaints, TranslatePress does work fine with any WordPress theme. However, if you have any doubts, in this case, it's probably better to reach out to one of those two companies and ask for a compatibility check from their side since this is unfortunately out of our control.

@@translatepress Is the free version of the Translate Press able to integrate with DeepL API Pro?

@@EugeniaSoares unfortunately the DeepL API is only available with the Pro version of the plugin. However, you can still use the Google Translate API with the free version of TranslatePress.

if i choose free plan,and get a free api for a month,which gives 500000 characters in the first month..then one month later,will it refresh to a new 500000characters or the whole api will be invaild?thx

If you chose a free plan, you'll get to automatically translate 500.000 characters for free every month. The API will not be invalid, you'll only need to limit the number of translated characters each month. For example, if you have a 1.500.000 character website, you'll be able to translate all of them for free if you spread your translation process over 3 months.
