Darrrel, question and perhaps i missed it but is there a plugin that will just auto-detect what the user is using? Example, i have a client that wants a translation to Mexican "Spanish" and as such his primary customers are Spanish while the other is perhaps a 1/4 of English.

Hi. Thank You for your video. It was very helpful. I have one question though. We only need to automatically translate whole website once and that's it. Potentially new pages we could translate later manually in free version of plugin. Do we need to pay for premium plugin every year or could we pay once, translate whole site and its automatic translation gonna work even after subscription is done (but of course without further automatic translation of new pages) ?

How 'bout order confirmation? I mean, if site default language is english, and a customer uses widget to select Spanish, completes checkout and then receives order confirmation in english, not spanish. Appreciate if you can elaborate on this piece.

Hi Darrel! Unfortunately, this plugin is not completely FREE. You are allowed to translate only to one language. Beyond that, you need to purchase a pro plan which costs around 79 euros/year.

this is a great plugin if you have a simple site and front end translation is enough. But if you need to translate strings and categories etc then WPML is still your only option.

Hello Darel. Glad you've thrown this amazing video again on everyone's plate again. You literally dropped the bomb with the free translation module for WooCommerce as PolyLang and WPML are taking lots of money for something that not everyone might need besides the basic but fully working functionality. One thing I would like to know is if you managed to use FLATSOME with TranslatePress. Sorry for the double question, I posted on your other video of walking everyone to build WordPress website with FLATSOME. This is the only thing that I had really hard time using and because of that, I had to go WPML route, but trying to reduce the costs for end user sometimes requires us to use free modules (as far as they do the work intended). Thank you very much again for all the experience shared. One thing I did not like on Wordpress was the risk of breaking while you maintain a website up-to-date, but if someone prefers that CMS over others, we might serve that too. Looking forward hearing from you as an expert in the field how did you managed to trick the language selector. I am well aware that I can have a textual representation of every language with a link to the specific URL, however my idea is to hide the current language selector and only have the other one visible (unless someone uses the PRO version allowing more than a single other language) God bless you and all the best!

I have Divi theme (learning it), not a developer, just have a few websites :). The best alternative to TranslatePress is ConveyThis. This plugin is even easier to setup for newbies and costs less.

You should do a vídeo on Weglot translator. In my opinion a much better translate plug in.

I used WPML and that was a nightmare. I use DIVI, and it forces the divi builder into the translated language as well, on both the back and frontend. Which makes it very hard to then edit pages if you don't speak that language. Will be using TranslatePRess next time.
