Looks sick bro. They remind me of mustang tail lights.

Pro tip - it doesn't take much torque to make the studs come out of the light casing, and doing this too many times can do this too. Once the studs start coming loose and getting pulled out from the plastic, you'll have leaking issues. You can fix this by using JB weld to secure the studs to the tail light casing, and then you can make them as tight as needed to help avoid leaks.

I have these exact tail lights and they are one of my favorite cosmetic mod for the car. It really makes the back way more aggressive.

Do a review, I'd be curious to see/know just how good the reverse lights actually are. I've been looking at the spec D all red ones with the chrome reverse on the bottom. Very Porsche Esq.

idk if u get rainy days where youre at but make sure to check the rubber seals against the holes where your wires go. i got some after market ones and my whole back seat floor was flooded shit sucked

Those are resistors, not relays. The car came with halogen bulbs in the rear, but your replacements are LED bulbs, so you have to trick the computer into thinking there are halogen bulbs in the back and they are not burnt out. That is what the resistors do. The computer expects a certain amount of current to flow through the taillights if they're working, but LEDs don't need much current, so the resistors act as an extra place for current to travel to increase the amount of current the computer sees is going to the taillights.

i love these lights. i had them on my bk1 but i gave them to my girlfriend as a gift. we went about a full year before we had condensation, it's pretty bad now though =(

Sick taillights for sure but one of my buddies has these on and told me the gaskets are terrible for these and water is always getting in so just be weary about that 😊

Question! Did you notice that when your hazards or turn signal is on, that when you apply the brakes nothing happens on the light with the flashers on?

I bought the same ones for my black bk2. I had to black silicone the gasket to the light and seal the gasket to the car itself just to stop the leaking

Are the reverse lights very bright? Stuck between doing the tail as turn mod (your incandescent blinker is routed into your led tail lights and you are able to use your reverse light and the old turn signal slot as another reverse light) I would use double led reverse lights for better visibility or just completely changing tail lights. We all know these cars have terrible visibility backing up lol
