Tbh I've always been done good by eBay. Plus you get what you pay for lol. $99 splitter/diffuser is usually half the quality of a $200 one, keyword being usually. I recently got a "carbon fiber" front lip for $120 and it's good quality and fits perfectly. Even the weave pattern lay looked real, no wild skewing or fading. Regardless I wrapped it before putting it on bc I didn't wanna be false flexing plastic carbon on the GC lol
Very clean and affordable mods! That steering wheel was a tad pricey for me, but all, and all awesome looking Gen. I have a 13 rspec 3.8 (headers, intake, Borla exhaust) I love the low growl the Borla exhaust gives. I wanted to add either a DTOZ supercharger to mine, or a Remnant turbo kit, but my car has now gotten up in miles (141k), so I ended up leaving her as she is, and bought a 23 Elantra N DCT. Still enjoy driving my Genesis though, nothing beats rwd experience. I also opted to powder coat my factory rims satin black, got a Siemens carbon fiber hood, carbon wing. Car is white, so the black accents set it off proper imo. I’ve also kept up my maintenance 100%. I had it walnut blasted to clean carbon out at 100k, radiator flushed, injectors replaced, plugs, and coil packs. She has been great. Sorry for the long post.
The AC pops are common. Had it with a 2.5 altima coupe. Its just extra force with the engine to run systems at the same time. Its a common fluke and unless you’re running rich I wouldn’t worry. Only issue that could happen is the cats. But thats a very rare thing. I just got my 3.8 4 months ago and got the work wheels on the way, im excited
VERY NICE. I did the max bore on mine as well best bang for buck. until 100 shot took all the love, but last dyno with mostly bolt ons and 100 shot i got 453 to the wheels. same setup as yours different tune though. of course i did pulleys and such as well.
100% swap that version of the Genesis Wing emblem with the one from the 2017+ sedans They look sooo much better, more mature and classy. But that's a nice Gen. The exact same as mine minus the color and a few things lol. Can't wait to turbo my baby. Gotta get MTMotorsports to build her first. Gotta make the short block bullet proof so I'm not making us look back when I inevitably blow a new intake hole in it somewhere 😂
I have the same steering wheel but they really did screw me over. They accused me of not selecting the proper trim but when I went to look at it further, it turns out they sent me a 2010 BK1 wheel-base steering wheel. So after all the hassles and gymnastics, I got it to work. I actually have the BK1 shifter paddles now so it definitely makes the steering wheel look a little bit more aggressive.
$7,055 for all of that? This is why I plan to go with a slightly built motor and Remnant Performance turbo kit instead, or have it LS swapped. Of course this is when I magically get rich someday. Spend more on performance. The only aesthetics I plan to do are Cosmis xt-005r or xt-006r racing wheels, the street aero diffuser, and a duckbill spoiler from Battler Aero or the M&S R4TEN duckbill spoiler. Those are the only parts Genesis Coupes need to look amazing. A wrap change would be the last extra. I would rather have performance before aesthetics.
@@Dahny The guy with 510whp told me a few weeks ago it costed the customer around $8,000 for the motor. I can't find anything else beyond that. I asked Travis and he will not give out precise prices. It's such a huge secret.
@@bikotheanimator6169 but if you’re saying the motor is 8K alone, and the kit is 3K, then you’re paying 11K. Spend an extra 4K at that point and get a good quality turbo kit
No respect for what your car is. To everyone putting Genesis emblems on your car, Genesis never made a "Genesis." Have some respect for your manufacturer.
