Genesis of the Late Show Christmas Tree Toppings, 1993-1997 

I had planned to add this to the Jay Thomas collection, but its length deserved its own compilation. Here's the genesis of the Late Show Christmas tree toppings.
1. December 20, 1993. Mujibur & Sirajul offer a plate and the Statue of Liberty.
2. December 21, 1994. Rupert Jee tops the tree with a meatball.
3. December 18, 1995. Rupert Jee's 2nd annual meatball.
4. December 17, 1996. Joe "G" and his customers contribute a pizza pie.
5. December 16, 1997. Along with a one-time bagel, it all comes together.
For the 1998 tree, Rupert offered a pastrami sandwich in place of the meatball, and that's what Jay Thomas knocked over on the first Holiday Quarterback Challenge, seen here: • Jay Thomas Collection ... .
