For the first cell, if all the compounds came into being, then where did life come from? 3. There are many events like the Cambrian and GOBE that directly disprove the cell hypothesis, so why should it be considered science? 4. What is the guarantee that changing at the genetic level will result in phenotypical changes that will lead to better human beings? 5. Will genetic engineering close the field of epigenetics? Atheists currently are trying their best to equate Islam vs Evolution which I can also see in this video but the fact of the matter is that too much hype is created instead of actual facts. First Islam is not a scientific literature published in 7th century in Arabia instead it is a religion containing all the aspects of life from Metaphysical to economics. I completely understand your position because as an Atheist your position will always be Evolution vs Islam but in reality Islam does not have any issue with Science and there is no limit, you can explore whatever you want to and believe whatever you want to but the in reality Random Mutation or Blind processes or the God of the Gaps cannot produce something meaningful, maybe for you it can be God of the gaps or random processes since you cannot understand them. There are lot of things happening around but still Mother Nature has more ability and perfection in its design (whatever it is) instead of Human created experiments. One of the great example is Botox surgery, artificial limb implantation etc whereas if these things are naturally grown or created they are completely inline with Human body. Science has not even discovered the 1% of this universe but for Atheists they portray it to be a tool to find God as well. If the title is Evolution vs Islam Then why didn't you give evidence from Islam too? That's why it's ridiculous to compare science with a Holy Book from God. Instead topic should be comparing different Evolution theories. And not all science is a fact. But Islam is Truth and word of God.

Honestly I am just a pre med student and I can easily contest all the elucidated claims made by Mooroo in this particular video. I read this chapter of evolution last year in the biology book of 2nd year. It took me a thorough studying of 5 days unbiasedly to come to my own satisfactory conclusions. It seems to me as if Mooroo only studied it from one perspective, he didn't even dwell into different pictures presented by science itself but remain bounded to the origin of species, as if it's some absolute truth; or he was ignorant enough to think that Pakistanis aren't educated enough on this topic and we all would unquestionably accept his spews (as some people did do in the comment section). Mooroo Bhai majority of Pakistanis, even 2nd year students, are educated enough on this topic to easily counter your arguments. You need to do more research. This video didn't seem right or wrong to me, just felt like someone uninformed was giving his expert opinion on something out of his expertise.

My dear brother, with all due respect; These arguments no matter how attractive they may seem to the common man are fallacious at the very core. You see Islam is not a religion of science, when Allah ﷻ talks about the physical world he is not talking on the basis of scientific evidence, he’s saying those things based on objective truth, the complete, absolute and infallible knowledge of Allah ﷻ. How we interpret them is another matter altogether. On the other hand science was not here to solve mysteries of the metaphysical world, it is only the study of the physical world through experimentation and observations. Also, there are no absolute truths in science, there are only approximate truths. Anyone who says otherwise needs to study science in a deeper manner, college level science can’t be used to discuss such matters. Your current state seems that of a person who is the victim of ‘scientism’ (Google it). Therefore, this attempt to make peace between the absolute (divine texts) and the transient (science) just shows the inadequacy in both fields. I’d highly recommend further reading on both subjects with experts of the field, not RU-vid charlatans of these fields. I hope you won’t take offence to this, as that is not the purpose of this comment.

Muslims do not believe that human beings randomly evolved from apes. The life of human beings began with the creation of two people, a male and a female named Adam and Hawwa (Eve). The Qur'an describes how Allah created Adam: "We created man from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape..." (15:26). And, "He began the creation of man from clay, and made his progeny from a quintessence of fluid" (32:7-8). Thus, human beings have a fundamental attachment to the earth. While the creation of Eve is not described in detail, the Qur'an does make it clear that a "mate" was created with Adam, from the same nature and soul. "It is He Who created you from a single person, and made his mate of like nature, in order that he might dwell with her in love" (7:189). She is not mentioned by name in the Qur'an, but in Islamic tradition she is known as "Hawwa" (Eve). From these two individuals, generations of human beings have inhabited the earth. "Oh humankind! We created you from a single pair of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, so that you may know each other (not that ye may despise each other). Verily the most honored among you in the sight of Allah is the who is the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things)" (49:13).

I personally believe the future man is going to have a lot poorer health condition than the present man. And it has started happening now. Yes, the life expectancy has increased but the overall health has deteriorated over the decades. There are many factors contributing to this. GM foods / sedentary lifestyle / lack of real social connections are some of them. Just being able to increase the life expectancy is not a yardstick to say that the future man is going to be capable of a lot more things than we are. I believe the very existence of mankind is at the brink of extinction. It may take a few hundred years but i think it’s going to happen due to the lifestyle choices we have got used to.

Instead of involving in a religious dispute, the struggle for survival and the requirement of modification (instead of change ) you have explained it brilliantly. No matter how hard someone will go against biotechnology or genetic modification, one day it would be needed. Love as unnatural, criticism of urge for fertility/mating, and strong background knowledge about Evolution all makes the video excellent. I knew about Lennenwork experiment background lol. This is the video that all biologist(specifically from Pakistan) need to indicate when they are asked "evolution maghrib ka fitoor hy".

I am a Muslim Alhamdullilah, already learned about evolution on my own, watched both mooro and Ali.E . what conclusion I draw is that both are on their extremes. a lot of muslims believe that some sort of evolution is true but not as a whole. e.g. we know their were other human species who lived (maybe they were just differently looking humans etc.).What I conclude is that keeping our eyes shut that evolution is just a theory won't help us and also asserting that evolution is more closer to reality is also absurd. Life is a complex mechanism with reproductive code. code is information. and information cannot be generated on its own. That's one of those reason why I believe in Our Creator.

I couldn't deny evolution but this is not as simple that we say we evolve from monkeys simply.... this world has other dimensions which we didn't know yet same way we don't know the reality of universe what Quran describe.... As today's technology and science say that any type of data can't be deleted permanently, there are traces of that data that are present somewhere that can be restored after some change in coding(in the case of digital data). So you can take the same thing with humans, for example, according to science all voices of persons got stuck somewhere in the atmosphere and they can be gathered and think about the feelings and thoughts that are in the brain, where they go when a person dies and what about the soul of that person !!!?

It means I'm of same age as universe is and that means I'm the universe. In fact my genes, your genes, cancer cells... all sum up to make the universe what it is. This video is top notch but still you didn't answer the question that whether you believe in Darwin theory or Adam & Eve theory? I am using the word "Darwin" instead of evolution because evolution is also a part of Islam. As we know through Islamic history, human beings used to be much taller than now, like in the time of Prophet Saleh(AS). Similarly, Prophet Nooh(AS) lived for 950 years, but now the average human lifespan is between 60-70 years. Rest I agree that genetic revolution may be possible(or even necessary) in upcoming years, except, there will be more harm than good. Genetic revolution's side effects we have started to face already. There is hardly any animal meat that is not modified through cross-breading, steroids. Dairy milk is not as efficient as in the medieval times. People could fill up their stomach by drinking a glass of milk in ancient times, but now milk is just liquidified powder.
