I'm mexican, and to be honest when Canelo fights I don't really care, nothing against Canelo he is a tremendous fighter, but GGG is something special, I can't wait to see him fight.
The translator missed the main idea here 1:13 . Gennady used the word "боксировать" twice. He emphasized that he wanted to "box" more, not just go and punch an opponent with powershots. So the word "fight" doesn't fit here.

As a side note and amazingly, GGG's ko percentage (best in the history of the middleweight division) was achieved in the 12 round era (Hagler fought during the 15 round era). I believe that had the fights against Canelo and Jacobs been fought in the 15 round era, GGG would have knocked them out in the 14th or 15th round.
@@villesideveteran2121 For elite fighters like Jacobs and Canelo, you need those extra three rounds to wear them down. Look at Leonard vs Benitez (15th round ko) and Leonard vs Hearns (14th round ko).

GGG looks good for a 37 year old. It looks like he still has the power, speed, and momentum. A third fight with canelo has to happen and should go down as one of the best boxing rivalries in boxing history. There is no if's, buts, or what's about it. It NEEDS to happen!
Idk man G nowadays is looking honestly a bit worse than he was during their fights. Canelo really only has gotten better after both fights with Gennady and his fights following them. And Gennady probably would want to stick to what he did last with Canelo if he wants to really give Canelo another hard time. Idk I got Canelo for the third.

I fought his new coach J.Banks in Michigan state championships in 2003. He got the "W" and i remember telling everyone right after that fight that he's going to be champ some day. Banks was Emanuel Stewart's protege. He's got slick technical skills "KRONK"
