Nope, canelo needs to fight champions or first contenders as his champ duty, ggg needs a belt of a win over charlo boo boo or Sanders to get that shot at Canelo again otherwise it's just money fight
Saw this when it first came out but hadn't watched it since. The sounds of some of those body shots were brutal. You can tell they took their toll. Rolls had nothing on his shots going into the 4th because he was completely sapped from the shots to the body. I know Steve is not the fighter Canelo is but if Golovkin were to throw the same shots here against Canelo, despite what would be coming back, it would drastically change the fight. I've been saying it for years, guys can't handle a sustained body attack from Gennadiy. It eventually breaks them.
GGG lets you hit him, to see if you can hit if you can crack then it changes how he fights if you can’t hurt him then he comes forward and doesn’t really care I personally believe GGG let him go 3 rounds if he wanted to he could of gotten him out in the first because he didn’t put anything on them hooks and YET he rocked Rolls with a short left hook with nothing on it.
this is phenomenal change in triple G and loving this new work with Jonathan Banks best thing that ever happened. we all know canelo isn't going to give GGG a shot yet so id like to see him fight Andrade for a belt then canelo for undisputed....that's the dream ending !!
Because he wants back what's rightfully his, the belts and more importantly his honor. His goal was always to unify the middleweight division, and sadly it was stolen from him. True boxing fans know the true middleweight champion. And for that reason alone, true fans of the fight game demand a third fight. GGG deserves it. Boxing owes him.
