Golovkin beat Canelo, plain and simple! The only person Canelo beat was Adalaide Byrd. He beat her to a pulp the night before the fight, until she promised to give him that bogus score of 118-110 on her card.

@@iamfriendly6483 Canelo's win over Gennady was not convincingat all. That win only happens when you're a GBP's pet, and usrs steroids. Sadly, the boxing mafia and judges favor boxers that could attract PPV buyers. They know Mexicans fans will buy PPV, hence they favor the Mexican pugilists.

My favorite boxer. Amazing unorthodox high pressure style. Very similar to the Mexican style with more emphasis on the jab/lead hand. Uncanny thudding power that wears out and damages opponents and an otherworldly cardio. Lastly, the best chin in boxing today. In short, the personification of the Terminator.

Mine too brother GGG is the reason I started watching boxing. I loved his boxing style, his chin, jab, "don't forget his body shots so underrated in my opinion" and the fact he's gives his opponents respect, and never trash talks, GGG just comes and break you down round by round. It was too bad nobody really wanted to fight him. It's going to be sad when retires

Miguel G i can see that you know nothing about boxing. GGG’s defense was key to winning that fight. He knocked down Derevyanchenko. Derevyanchenko was hitting the gloves and air most of the fight.

I love Triple G and his Hulk smash punch, when he punches them in the forehead. I've never seen a boxer throw a punch like that come up over his own shoulders and then down onto someone's head. 😂 great video jimmy

@@carlosdesantiago6608 lolz. The whole world knows that GGG beat Clenelo in the first fight. Which was why Clenelo turned to using drugs for the 2nd fight. In the 2nd fight it was close and should have been a draw because you have to beat the champion clearly in order to take the belts which Clenelo did not do. It was close. A close fight - should have gone to the champion - which in this case is GGG. So the first was GGG won and the 2nd was a supposed to be a draw. Even if its conceded that Clenelo won the 2nd fight, its still 1-1 which is a tie between them.

Golovkin is by far my favorite boxer and I am going to be truly sad when he retires. I’m hoping for a BIG WIN against Murata to establish that he’s not done yet. Golovkin style is so aesthetically pleasing. He’s truly one of a kind and an underrated generational knockout artist.

He's 43-0. I'd entertain an argument that he's 42-0-1. The first fight vs Canelo wasn't a draw. The second one was either a Gennady win or a draw. He'd be 80-0 if he weren't also the most avoided fighter in middleweight history.

GGG has had a HOF career. One of the best MW’s of all time. But it’s still been bittersweet. He was avoided like the plague in his prime. Then he got straight up robbed in the biggest fight of his career. Undoubtedly one of the best fighters of his generation

new sub here for sure, sir! excellent concise analysis of G's boxing style & capabilities. his superb defensive skills can never get praised too much, imo. so many think of G as stylistically similar to say, wilder (another boxer i'm personally a huge fan of, but admittedly for very different reasons than golovkin), in that he's overly reliant on sheer power & ability to land one shot KOs. it's frustrated me many times over to see G's subtle defense go unappreciated entirely; & thank you so very much for talking about the nearly lost art of shifting! that really made me smile. G's ability to roll with a punch &/or slightly move his head to keep himself clear of serious damage is second to none, although people tend to focus on the rolling with a shot ability (& plain 'ole excellent neck musculature), than they do his defensive head maneuvers. keep up the excellent videos, i look forward to see whatcha got. i'd personally love to see an analysis video on terence crawford's style...just a thought! :)

GGG’s boxing style is pure magic. His hands doesn’t seem that fast and even the foot work looks pretty slow but his punch is so accurate and moves so efficiently.

Triple G is a classy boxer and a gentleman. Look at how he handles knocking people down.....he doesn't go in for the kill and stops immediately after the ref steps in. Takes humility and self control to do that.

@@tonyb9735 First fight 8-4 Golovkin, second fight was a draw. All 3 judges had the score right going into the 12th, 6-5 Canelo. Golovkin dominated the 12th with huge clean uppercuts at close range. Only one judge had the integrity to score the fight a draw, the others were on the payroll. Such a sad day for boxing, because a draw there would have triggered the trilogy match, and GGG would have properly broken that douche bag Hopkins’ record on the grand stage.

Would have loved seeing him vs Hagler. He beat Canelo - discounting the joke Adelaide Byrd, I recall the judge scoring a draw later admitted he got a key round muddled - GGG clearly won that one but he mistakenly put it down for Canelo. Had this been corrected, it would have been a majority win for GGG.

If GGG knocks out Murata in devastating fashion, the talks of a Canelo rematch will start up again. I wouldn't mind seeing them one more time at 168. But if not, he should definitely try and snatch up the middleweight belts.

GGG is so underrated the man was awesome he basically stopped every fighter he fought I'm pretty sure he's like well over 95% knockout rate only losing razor clues decisions to Canelo Alvarez at the end of his career
