One Fun little thing that shows how dedicated Geno is to the game, is that he spend years on the Sidelines with his Helmet on. Listening in to all the playcalls and communication. Sitting, learning, absorbing and waiting. And when he got his chance, he took it and ran with it. Now it's up to him to keep it up.

@@stephenmclemore7614 I remember at first Perna was clowning on Seattle and Pete Carroll left and right after we traded Russ. And actually like last season for instance he had a “hatred” for Seattle. Clowning on the whole “let Russ cook” thing. Which was actually started out as fan based plea that training camp. Now he has tasted some humble pie on the whole trade. And I must say after reading the comments from Hawk fans. All is good between us and Brandon lol. The script has been flipped since we own both teams picks. And figured Seattle would yield the top ten and Denver’s would be the lower pick.

I concur. However, I think Russ has completely gone mental! Anyone who works out on the plane ride to the next contest, and talks to himself( running plays and whatnot), needs serious therapy. I think the life coach he had when he was in Seattle was more akin to a therapist than a life coach. When that dude passed on, Russell declined at an alarming rate. It would be refreshing for everyone, albeit Seahawks fans and Broncos, if he would just get back to his roots and be a team player. I hear he had his own office at Bronco headquarters. The only time he goes into the locker room is to put on his gear. He had alienated himself from his fellow warriors. You have to go through his management team to speak to him. What a douchebag! He needs to get his shit together or it’s going to be a rough ride, whether in Broncos country or any where else. I feel sorry, deeply sorry for any Broncos fans.😢

I wasn't surprised to see Geno start in Week 1. He had limited snaps in preseason, and though they didn't score a lot while he was on the field, he looked good back there, in command of the offense, made good throws, and took care of the ball. That's a Pete Carroll quarterback.

I'm so happy that Geno's doing good, ofc I'm a seattle fan, and I really do hope we make the playoffs this year. Im sad for Russ, but as I've commented on a different video of this guy's, saying that I knew he wasn't going to do good, because russ just came from incredible coaching for 10 years, to a ROOKIE head coach. But I personally think that Geno deserves it. I just have no clue what we're going to do with those two first rounders. I hope we don't try and get another qb, and just trade Geno, I really hope that we just focus on our defense, and make it one of the best defenses in the league. Or maybe trade the picks. Idk 🤷🏽‍♂️

I personally assumed that if a good enough QB was available they would have him holding a clipboard behind Geno for about a season. But yeah they could also trade the picks the way the Eagles did getting a Pro Bowler and then use the other pick to invest for a better pick down the road.

Who the coach and gm is for your NFL team and how long they have been coaching the team matters. Teams give up on them quickly and then u have a revolving door of new coach's and guns....and it affects the play of everyone Also. Seattle got a lot of crap about their o line. They can run block good all those years but not stop Russell from getting sacked. Now in Denver same sack problem, even worse. What's the common denominator? it's Russ holding the ball s long time while also moving a lot, preferably to his right. Those linemen can't see backwards. They don't know Russ is going take off cause can't see the open player in the pocket. That's never changing.

The quality of Geno's throws this year are amazing ..that part isn't coaching. I'd light to go back in time, have Russell drafted to the jets and Geno to Seattle with LOB and Lynch and see how that turns out. I do believe Russell would not have quarter of billion contract right now if he was playing at all Geno was given up on too soon when he was younger. Since Geno wasn't some high first rounder, he got a short amount of time when very young to be judged on a sh*t team. Manning. Aikman breeze ..what if they were given up on just cause when they started they sucked at first? Anythings better then the foolish drama Russell brings to a team.

Pretty sure that game with Baylor was a 70-63 final. No one played defense. 70-33 was their score vs Clemson in the Orange Bowl in January. WVU scored a lot of points with Smith, Austin and Bailey.

Right before the Seattle/Denver game, I texted my friends in Seattle (I moved away last year) that if Seattle beat Wilson, I wanted a screenshot of Wilson's expression after the game, because it'd be hilarious. I am a Bronco fan, and a USC alum. There were a lot of whispers about coach Carroll in Seattle, but you never doubt the man. He made my four years at SC the best of my life. I know that his players would go to hell and back for him, he is a master motivator, and squeezes the most out of opportunities (except that one time). That's why I am not surprised the Broncos got absolutely fleeced, by a dude that can sell a salvage Ferrari for triple the Bluebook value.

I think without two big personalities at odds, this Seahawks team seems far more united and it makes the coaching more effective. Geno is a solid starter at worst and genuinely great at best, but the subtraction of Russ seems to have greatly improved team chemistry which has big benefits too. I agree, it seems like we upgraded at least our situation. That's not even mentioning the rookies we drafted with Denver's picks.

Teams win games. Seattle wasn’t playing as a team under Russ. Russ was pursuing his glory and the rest of the team was pursuing theirs. Based on all that has come out Russ’s ego got to big. That weight is holding him back. I won’t lie I thought it would be Lock having this revenge tour. Geno having it is just as good.

Really sharp turnaround from the lad. Offense is finding youth and young talent, becoming more explosive in some areas. Great rookie class thus far. It’s so important drafting quality players past the first round. My Eagles went from 4-11-1 to 9-8 and playoffs due to a lot of help from the rookie class, not just first rounder Devonta Smith. NFL landscape has really been changing since last year

Second half of the year last year we saw what Geno COULD be.. anybody who pays attention is VERY happy they unloaded Russ. We all saw what he was turning in to here in Seattle.

Bought tickets to the Seahawks @ Chiefs game at the beginning of the season, didn't expect them to be this good with Geno at QB. Hope he has continued success, and that I get to see a hell of a game between him and Mahomes!

Happy Birthday again Brandon. Hope your day has been good. I sure didn’t see this happening. As a #12 lifelong Seahawks fan, I’m shocked. As with most Hawks fans, I’m watching, taking it all in, but not rubbing it into anyone’s face…not yet. Taking a quiet approach for now. I feel good for Geno. Thanks Brandon. Don’t give up on Russell. He’s a great QB. They need to smooth out that offense as the two games I’ve got to see I was thinking…okay I was yelling…WTF kind of play call is that? Your new coach needs a bit of work. I have to admit I’ve been a bit pissed off at the special needs TALKING HEADS putting all the blame on Russell. It’s an ESPN group assault of Russell. Idiots. Geno's passer rating progression is consistent with the premise that he is a top 3-8 QB, although it's not proof 2013 66.5 2014 77.5 2015-2020 83.93 (2 starts/11 games) 2021 103 (3 starts/4 games) 2022 107.7 (7 starts) His production could decline some as teams adjust to taking away what he does best, on the other hand he could improve some as he gains more in-game experience and the coaches scheme to his strengths.
