Genoa Peak Trail near Lake Tahoe 

Thanks for explaining exactly how to find the trail head. It looks like a fun place to explore without fear of breaking anything. I might try to bring my 2022 tundra up a ways.

I'm so glad I found this. I am new to wheeling and wanted to see what this trail looked like.

Watching this brought back some wonderful memories. I lived in Reno for a year in the early 2000's (only a year because of job) and would spend many of my days off from work exploring around Lake Tahoe in my Jeep Cherokee. I actually just ordered a Wrangler Rubicon a week ago and Lake Tahoe is going to be one my first long distance trips when safer to travel (I have health issues that require me to be extremely careful during COVID).

i did that trail in my outback. must air down lots of rocks.

Hello. Where is the entrance to this place? I went to tahoe yesterday looking for the entrance. Coming from Reno when you go up and down to 50 to yo have to turn left to south tahoe or right to go to north tahoe? There is one left turn before the y and they call it tahoe rim trail. I guess thats not it because mo motorize vehicle sign. I dont see the DOT Place that you were talking about in the video. Please let me know. I want to try this trail. I have a sxs and a quad.
