@@pekocola7205 her instrument adds a powerful kick to the music, which I think suits her well since she stands out pretty well amongst other genshin characters. An example of this is best seen with her signature dish since it’s the only four star dish out of all the characters so far. There’s also her role as a captain which is an inherently important and exclusive job.

The drums essentially support the rhythm so the others can shine. They thump away and deliver a powerful sound on their own, yet those low notes make the mid and high notes of the rest sparkle so much brighter. So, I'd say, it makes quite alot of sense to me at least.

​@@pekocola7205she's a dancer so I'd imagine she has a very good grasp of rhythm and staying on beat. She's also incredibly strong but also has her vulnerable moments, perfect for a bass drum.

Xiao plays on the flute because when he first met Venti, he played on the flute, which calms Xiao. It's a nice touch

Plus its said that hes connected to the dihua flute and we can hear a flute sound at the beginning of his demo

Xiao's character was originally going to have an animation where he plays a flute, but they scrapped it and incorporated the flute aspect into other parts of his story.

Also these outfits would be hell to animate in 3D and would definitely clip into limbs etc. That is why we don't have stuff like this for playable characters (the girls at least, boys seem to be wearing suits which could work but it would be unfair for the girls not getting anything).

@Lucky_Dagger Yeah, Eula's a fun character, but not my favorite - that comment was supposed to be funny. 😊 I don't know how to 3D animate, but from my novice perspective, I don't understand how those outfits would be any more difficult to put in the game than the ones some of the characters already wear. For instance, Kokomi's outfit is very flowy and has the potential for clipping. Hers and Ei's sleeves alone could clip since they're so long, and any of the characters wearing coats off their shoulders could have clipping issues as well. And if we look at upcoming characters, Navia's outfit is pretty fluffy and flowy, creating the possibility for clipping issues. However, they're still including her in the game with that clothing style. Again, I don't know much about animation, but I'm not seeing how the female characters' outfits would be harder to make than the current attire for the characters. 🤔

@@deathrowShorty i guess it all boils down to studio; money and time. Ufotable has control of the standard, but Mihoyo will still have to determine how much they are willing to pay the studio and the timeframe they give them. Hopefully both parties can come to a mutual understanding about what is needed to produce a beautiful product. Fingers crossed
