You honestly really dont need to spend any money to fully enjoy the game, the free pulls it gives you build up faster than you think. The story and gigantic exploration are more than enough reason to play it imo.

The most popular thing to react to for Genshin is a character demos. It's a pretty good way to see how the game has changed over time and a lot of the older ones have aged well.

6:46 is actually a genshin event/ campaign gone wrong. They collaborate with KFC at some point in which was exclusive to their main land which ended up a disaster.

Genshin has one of the best deserts of any game I've ever played it is huge and full of secrets it has dungeons with puzzles and also amazing stories and quest lines

The "riot" is an event in china where genshin collaborated with kfc.... Kfc is giving out limited edition merch and stuff, soo many people went that they flooded the entire restaurant, and with merch being limited, people started stealing the cardboard cut outs of characters outside of the restaurant which made a lot of chaos.

Exploring the regions is one of the most soothing things to do, personally Sumeru is peak exploration. Nice reaction!

Hoyoverse does continue to expand previous regions, for example The Chasm and Enkanomiya (underground areas) weren't there when their respective regions, Liyue and Inazuma, were first released. And we still have a few areas that are mentioned in the lore and dialogues but can't be visited yet - a port in Monstadt and a village in Liyue. So we do know there's more to come Overall, a whole new region is released once a year - rn we are one update away from 4.0 with the release of Fontaine, the hydro nation. A few updates after that will focus on expanding Fontaine's map and continuing the story, then some older regions will get some content. That's how it usually works.

Let's just hope that Max0r uses his editing skills only for good, not evil.

The Dendro element was added to the game with the release of Sumeru, and while technically enemies aligned with and using Dendro existed the element and its reactions wasn't really there yet. It's... complicated, but it basically reacts with Pyro, Hydro, and Electro, and its reactions allow the potential for further reactions. As a byproduct of having Dendro, once the major storyline there was done the developers have gone back and started implementing the Dendro characters which we knew the previous nations must have had (and in the case of Doctor Baizhu, have actually seen in the earlier story). While this game is shockingly fair for a gacha game at outright giving you a set of characters who both give you everything you need for exploration with some redundancy and are entirely endgame-capable for combat, I don't know how you handle spending and can't ethically just recommend it to random people. Your decision. For what it's worth, there is a lot of fan content.

nah dude you absolutely don't have to spend anything to play you can do dailies and every version has 4 events that in total give you more than enough to get a new character but realistically you won't want all the characters in the game so you end up hoarding more than necessary most of the time besides that Genshin's gacha unlike other gachas is not the main mechanic of the game it's exploration and discovery that are the main mechanic of it

yeah, Sumeru had the most amazing story so far, hands down. We are a few months away from 4.0 and the new Hydro continent, but if you are not interested in playing, still wanna get acquainted with the story and your community doesn't mind you reacting to spoilers, I have a recommendation. - - "Genshin Impact Full Story Before Fontaine, All Cutscenes Full Movie" by "CatWithBlueHat", 200k views, 1h46m of all the game's cut scenes; or "Genshin Impact: The Movie // Entire Story Recap // Genshin Impact Story So Far //" volumes 1 and 2 by "Stray Maverik", 1.6M views and 130k respectively. Sadly, both of the latter are....waaaayyy longer, 3h+ and 5h+, but you will get a more in-depth than just the cutscenes plus events that wont be back ever. If you prefer the longer reactions 1st option is plenty, or if you wanna divide it into parts the second option would give you more content to react to, and full exposure to get to know the characters for your separate videos talking about each character. Plus I don't think I have seen anyone react to the full story cutscenes or Maverik's recaps. (I mean...understandably they be super long!...) Also, we got a sort of Content Road Map from official ch, you can take a look at that too. Is called "Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview: Travail｜Genshin Impact (Contains spoilers)", you might wanna squeeze that short one in if interested, whether you react to these recommendations or not, it's fairly good and short. and..."Gacha Life" ( -,_-)/ now I'm off to finish my dailies >..

"Didn't have money to continue playing" Sorry but what? Where exactly did the game require you to spend to continue a quest or exploration of an area or leveling up?.... Because it literally never does that, you can clear all the content in the game f2p. Either with free characters or by saving up free currency and getting new characters anyway. The game is extremely easy in any case. There's no paywall

I'd say dw about the money issue. On average you can get 60x free pulls every patch(6 weeks), and you can get more if you're behind on quest. You can get 1 character with that if you're lucky, but if not, at least you're guaranteed to get one next patch. Btw, you're guaranteed to get a 5 star character on 90x pulls. Ik some ppl still found that free pulls not enough, but for me that amount is fine.

The amount of content this game has for new players is insane. But yes if someone doesn't have money and spends it easily of gambling aspect, do avoid such game. You don't need to pay any irl currency even if you want to clear everything. Especially regarding main content.

By the way you could just play the game f2p it is possible, just needs some more patients I would actually love to see you play genshin :D

The music is so well thought out. When he's just talking, there's music behind that and you don't even realise. Also, all of it's Hoyoverse, the people who make Genshin and other games like Honkai Star Rail. Almost every character has a theme. I love Hu Tao's it fits her so well.

Just a question, are you going to play the game again? If no and you want to atleast understand the story i recommend watching the video "genshin impacts full story before Fontaine" (i think that was the title of it)! Because it shows the important cutscenes of the game and explains some of the story! Anyways, i really liked the reaction! Max0r is AMAZING

I’m 90% free to play. I get the Welkin that is $5 a month for 90 primos a day. Also, Sumeru is my favorite story and area. Sumeru even has my favorite characters. I just started playing it in January of this year.

Plants character are called Dendro, yes they're new, they should be released before Electro region but there's still a problem. But good thing they managed to change the storyline and make inazuma quite irrelevant to Sumeru.

I recommend watching genshin character demos. Like, they are quite entertaining, allow to know the characters better, have great music and also tend to gather a lot of views.

I'm day 1 player who still playing non-stop. I agree that you don't get much reward to pull in the early days. However, 1 major thing that player base had not realized about this game's combat system during that very early days is that most of the true "OP" characters are 4* character that got released since the game got released. What's more, they have a way to guarantee getting them for free. Those OP characters are... Xiangling: She is completely free bc you can get her when beating floor 3(iirc) of abyss. What's more, 1 of her best weapon is free. The issue is to get that weapon require you to do a lot of fishing. But, that weapon is really good for multiple characters too. Xingqiu: He has too many thing in his kit, insane hydro application(like Maxor joke about his ability to make enemies wet), good damage mitigation and good damage. When you pull any banner, you'll get starglitter that you can guarantee to get him through starglitter exchange. Bennett: Like what Maxor said that he is OP. Is he the best character gameplay wise? I don't think so bc he is an insane attack buffer, which is very good for attack scaling characters. But now, there's so many strong characters that don't scale their damage with ATK stat. You can guarantee to get him the same way as Xingqiu. Sucrose: Many players might say Kazuha is better version of her, but there're team that she is better esp. 1 of most popular team right now synergize better with her than Kazuha. You can guarantee to get her the same way as Xingqiu and Bennett.

*YES* The AMVs era was fantastic. Then I guess people got scared off making them by music companies sending out DMCAs like they were free candy. Squashed that artform pretty well dead. Which infuriates me, because it's _entirely legal_ fair use, and basically the moment you know that and challenge their DMCA, they back down. But who wants to do that, so the music studios get away with it anyway.

There us enough lore out there you don't have to play. If you're good with narration you could be an awesome lore channel.

Yeah the plant skill with electricity is called hyper bloom, and one more thing is nahida is the best dendro/ plant character, i will suggest you to pull for her if she gets a rerun soon then.

Genshin is a very grindy game but is still relatively tame by old-school gamer standards. But given what I'm reading in the comments, there's probably no amount of awesome that's going to improve your gacha life in Genshin so might be best to just watch other people's Genshin playthrough instead.
