And he's either made of the dead leyline wood, (like from the Abyss enemies drops) or just a root/branch of Irminsul that isn't as the one Nahida was born from. And also, he's a wooden puppet. Nahida is a fleshy god, not a robot, but a sentient thing, born from a tree. He's made using Khaenri'an technology.

Same, but also, it breaks my heart because that part of the track is where you can hit Shouki no Kami before he strikes down after charging up Setsuna Shoumetsu phase, with the Neo Akasha Terminal (the green floating thing with you), and by forcing him to stand down, I think it reminds him of how weak he was back then at Inazuma. The translation of "dominatus" being "defeated" supports this thought.
