@@IceHibiscus Being swallowed whole (and chewed on) is already enough to give her PTSD. Not dying out of it, making it choke instead of killing her, and her having to force herself out of the throat covered in mucus and saliva days after the incident is another. Of course she'll have PTSD. Better to die instantly than to experience that ordeal again.
the part i find the funniest is that when he talks about the three useless boys, two of them are literally the best in the meta right now especially since they're so accessible lmfao
Not even her parents. Her ancestors, 1000 years ago. Her relatives long to return to that "glory", but she actively opposes them. Genshin "fans" on twitter will try to cancel anything as long as their last two remaining braincells are rubbing together.
And the funny thing is that it's just a fricking story/lore about her family. Twitter users are too dumb. It's just a *fictional story* about *fictional characters,* that's all.
@@BulletSponge71436 Nah, Eula is literally Paathurnax of Lawrence family, going against it despite the fact that getting into knights of Favonius doesn't win her any sympathies from locals, which still see her only as another Lawrence. But she will have her revenge by stealing everyone's heart. And then she can return to reenact her revenge on traveller, taking care of him and feeding him crescent pies until he grows lazy, fat and unable to steal her kills any more.
Max0r is a bit roundabout with some things, but ultimately he nailed down the most important thing: You gotta have self-control and patience to play this game.
Ok you brought up Evenicle. Now you need to watch Sseth's review of it. Also if you are wondering of the pronunciations of names are correct when Max0r says them, he fluently speaks Mandarin Chinese so yeah he is probably saying it right.
@@BulletSponge71436 Max0r is a Russia-born half-jew coming from Blagoveshensk city. The most common profession in said city is smuggler. As it turns out, knowing both Russian and Chinese helps a lot in this activity.
I started playing cause, anime + open world + free = why wouldn't I? The lore so far is actually pretty good and I'm quite interested is what happen next and what will happen when we get near the end of the game. For now though, I'm staying for cool character design, thicc ass and different sizes of chest melons.
The thing with resin is when you play long enough and your in the endgame theres nothing to do except wait for resin so 160 is really so little for us older players since theres barley anything to do except wait for new updates and resin
This "review" never gets old, its always a blast to see people react to it and it does make some good points, just not always in the best way. And the Resin system sucks, u can go through it in half an hour and while they inproved and added different ways to make the most of it they have't removed it... As for the languages, just play what u want, its a well done and some of the english character VA's really blow u away.
@@jkterjters It's all fun and games until you're sub 30 sec clearing artifact domains and then realize you got to use your bursts 5 times and now you have nothing to do in game for 24 hours
the best part is that max0r left messages teasing his next project in his community tab. Its genshin. The pictures are of nahida getting killed (in dream cycle) and of hu tao with background like a sorting algorithm (he jokes about pixel sort).
The thing about genshin impact is you can definitely reach the endgame and even clear the hardest challenges with the free characters given to you, or the 4 star characters from the banners. You literally don’t even need the 5 stars. Some of the best support and even dps options are viable for free to play players. The community just has this unhealthy obsession with hyping 5 star limited characters and act like the game is unplayable you can’t do 500k damage. Sure, all gatcha games capitalize on FOMO, but the genshin fan base makes it even worse. The worst offenders are the big genshin RU-vids who make sweeping judgements on which characters are “bad” and which ones are “good”, and everyone just blindly follows.
right like i really don't care about numbers, i get characters because i like them. im a strong believer that no character is bad and it is all just up to how you build them
yknow, getting a specific 5* you want is hard, but getting a specific 4* is much harder... i got hutao qiqi and c1 hutao in her rerun, didn't get a single thoma. then i save for kazuha but zhongli banner dropped (and i want xingqiu so bad). i got zhongli, diluc, ganyu(i dont want her but it's better than c1 zhongli..), and c1 zhongli. i have got two copies of xingqiu in the process. is it worth it? NO. oh well ig imma need to refarm for kazuha and says goodbye to electro booba archon oh right i want bennett so bad so i pull in eula banner(also i want eula too), lost to qiqi and dont get a single bennett(i got r5 width instead even though i don't main any catalyst)
The Genshin community is full of people who hate the loli characters and constantly complain about men liking girl characters that they shipped. Getting canceled by the genshin community is a badge of honor. Also watch Seths video on Evencile.
@@THENemesisXX99 This is why i hope no other gacha becomes mainstream, not because i don't want the game and devs to do better financially but because it's gonna bring a bad crowd, mostly
Man, Evenicle was super fun, amidst the wait for "So when is a character gonna be r'd this chapter?" World building was cool and gameplay was perfect in the Wander around for cool stuff to fight Plus Senran kagura artist is cheffs kiss. The 2nd one is getting TL'ed in exactly a month!
Genshin I found is really fun. The only problem is the gambling system of getting characters. Story is decent. Gameplay is interesting. And the world is very beautiful.
for me, the resin requirement is a bit too high, and the RNG is a bit too bad. with 160 resin a day (it restored to full after 21 hours), but that's only enough to fight 4 bosses or 8 dungeon/domain run. would prefer it if they only require like 10 or 15 resins. Could finish it all in an hour anyway.
18:53 yea bro, for someone who's not spend hours a day for a game its indeed a good thing. I spend 1 hour a day (30min morning 30min night) for genshin and i barely following the pace of the update.
It's funny how I'm about to watch a video of someone who might play Genshin Impact watching a video about someone ADDICTED to playing Genshin Impact and immediately got a Genshin Impact ads just before the video started. *It has come to a full circle, my dude.*
Been playing since the game launched....this game has given me so much joy, from its story, it's lore, its music, its fascinating cast of characters and so much more . Will continue to play and see through the Traveller's journey...
People don't argue so much about the age of consent as they do about the characters' ages. Which is absurd, since (1) they're fictional characters, and (B) the societal standards are different in Teyvat, clearly, as a child is a full-out knight (mostly due to her sheer destructive capability), while a hypercapable teen maid is _not_ a knight. Twitter especially likes to argue, especially when they don't have a leg to stand on. For example about the whole slavery thing with the Lawrence Clan, and how it relates to Eula (she wants to end anything to do with her clan's tyrannical past, but Twitter has refused to read far enough to recognize this).
It is actually pretty funny how Mihoyo is intentionally vague about the age of any character in the game. It is almost as if they've been on the internet before and are trying to sell a product. There is no listed cannon age for any of the characters and that isn't an oversight by the devs.
What resin does is that it sets something of a milestone for casual players like myself. We go in and play the dailies, and once it's done we don't feel like we will miss out if we go play/do something else. Personally, I actually think it's good. If it is removed, I'm pretty sure most of us casuals will slowly stop playing the game. Arguably it's not good for.. more enthusiastic players who wants 3~8 hours of Genshin per day. I understand that too. There are games I want to keep playing too, but those are games with completed stories and an end to the game. In the design of Gacha and live-service games, there's no end except more grinding, so it's better to put some limit.
there is a survey of the game after each patch and each time its like Q. Are u satisfied with the current version of the game Me: sure Q. how likely are u to recommend it to a friend Me: Never
While some disagree, I like that the game caps at 160 resin, *as for now*. While we have content to experience, it's all fun and games. And when we get to the point of waiting a new update to do something new, it's nice that we can just play a game for a hour and be done with dailies. Really saves my time when I have some plans for the evening or weekend.
Noelle was less relevant than Zhongli, until Mihoyo introduced Corrosion (an effect some enemy attacks have that ignore shields and DEF and do True Damage, sometimes to your entire party). Yes, they changed the meta to make Healers (and not so much Tanks) and Healer-Tanks more relevant. Although Noelle has rarely left my party. She and Bennett keep them all alive when they should've died like 4 times.
I actually started using Noelle when Inuzuma finally came out even though i have Zhongli and multiple healer options mainly because i wanted to try other team options besides Zhongli (as i was using him since 1.1) and she wound up taking both healing and tank options so i could open up my party a bit more with a 3rd more offensive focused support/dps character (wound up going Xinqui for the most part and he still gives a bit of healing too but his Burst is mainly why i brought him in so i could get some Hydro reactions out off field...mainly use him as offscreen reactions support alongside Noelle as the tank/healer, Raiden as off screen Electro dps/reaction support (mainly for electro charged or overload) and then Yoimiya as my main dps as she can enable the triggering of all 3 reactions (vaporize, electro charged, and overload) from afar very quickly due to how fast her attack animations are (yes she has the ICD issue for her own reactions but she can allow the E skill of Raiden and Xinqui's Burst to react alongside her attacks as well) and the reactions also fix her lack of AOE as they cause a cone shaped AOE to hit enemies due to the reactions. Generally this party melts through almost all enemies, shielded or otherwise...could even replace Noelle for Zhongli if i wanted to but than I'd lack a main healer (Xinqui can heal a bit but against corrosion you'd be asking to die and while i could swap with a main healer like Jean, Barbara, Bennet, etc the issue there is the shield you get from Noelle/Zhongli would help prevent Yoimiya from being interrupted which is why i prefer using Noelle in this party setup so I'll have the shield and healer in one character).
The bad thing most ppl see about Noelle is that, She starts to be good at C6, I can't guve my opinion about her since I don't play her, but is that really so?
I don't know if they argue about the age of consent, but they definitely want to ship every same gender character couples. Not to mention some fan art even for characters, is better not to see.
Most of the ones who argue the age of consent are those new to gacha/anime and just want to argue about it for the sake of arguing. The people that they're pointing out don't even think too much about the age thing as long as they're not crossing the line of lolis. For example, if some weeb out there likes to simp for Mona then let him be. But there will definitely people who will say "But she's underage?!??!?!" When the weeb just like the character for the design/personality/character lore and is not even thinking such inappropriate things.
yeah like non of the characters have confirmed ages so like if you simp for barbara even though i personally think she's underage doesn't mean it's true, but the same i won't apply to characters like klee, it's pretty clear she's a child
I feel America places a huge emphasis on sexual attraction over other types. Like if someone says they are attracted to something, that's the first kind of attraction Americans think of. And on the other hand, they also place a lot of weird stigma on sex, so they get triggered by it very very easily.
@@zackang4731 mostly because attraction here almost always means sexual, or at least romantic, no one is going to say "im attracted to them" without meaning it in a sexual way, but yeah the weird sex stigma needs to go
Since you mention Evencicle. Have you watch "Evenicle Review | Wholesome Edition" by SsethTzeentach yet? I assume you haven't play Evenicle yet?...Because if you did, maybe you wouldn't be so nice about it....
The thing that bothers me about this video is the inaccurate information that Xiangling is 14. Nowhere does it say that she's that young, and nobody in the game even addresses her as being young for a chef. She's probably closer to 17-20, in my opinion. Based on her experience and status. EDIT: Also the fact he recommends to change the dialogue to the Japanese dub despite that being worse in a lot of ways to the English dub. Paimon is significantly worse sounding in that version. If you want quality, English has that. If you want accuracy and authenticity, you go Chinese.
@@XiaoIsMyHusbandBTW Most of the time, the case can be made for anime because it's the original language, and that holds the true vision in regards to the voice acting. But in this case, Chinese is. Japanese is just another dub. And that comes with the same problems those same people usually mention with the translation of anime to English.
@@LARVideos i know thats my point. for one the era of bad english dubs is over since most dubs are at least decent now, but the fact the instantly say switch to japanese just shows their bias. why not chinese? it's the original so it should be the best one
@@LARVideos Yups I think most people just have bad memories of English dubs from anime and.. some games. I myself do. But the english dubs for Genshin is excellent, except for a few characters/lines here and there which I don't like
Most gacha games have no character depth and story and just exist to milk as many rich weebs as possible but mihoyo or should i say hoyoverse did a 360 backflip to their gacha games
The resin situation's issue is that everyone gets to a stage where they have explored most of the existing world. When you hit that point, resin farming stuff is what most of your remaining content will be. And it straight up takes maybe 10 minutes max to clear your resin. The game just stops you from playing, it's very boring.
Hi will you ever be reacting to Honkai Impact 3 animations ? To be honest compared to Honkai's story Genshin is a happy place so far :p. Well not just that but the cinematography between the music and visuals are amazing in those animation some of the most impressive in the entire industry.
Just putting this out there, but you should totally react to a video called "Pelinal (Animated Opera)". It's an Elder Scrolls related thing and it honestly deserves way more attention. Edit: Just checked and it is at 1.7 million views which is significantly higher than when I first saw it so I suppose it got the attention I wanted it to get lol.
I couldn't get into the game. Sure the waifus are cute and all but I just couldn't get into it. Probably tired of open world games. The community is.... eh. I prefer to play Mihoyo's other game, Honkai Impact 3rd; Great story, characters, fun and linear plus there's Open world or Semi- Open world like there's enough to explore. As for those who argue about age of consent especially over 2D females.... 1) Your spirit animal must be EDP and 2) Ya really down bad. Not even cultured at that point, just bad.
I agree Honkai Impact is also a great game. They're geared at different demographics and wants.. Honkai Impact has more complex mechanisms that I think are cool, but don't have the time to commit to. Genshin is much more chill
imo Genshin is just if you want to explore an unknown world, running/gliding around. It's a really enjoyable feeling of freedom! But after one year of Genshin I played Honkai, which made me stop Genshin, because I feel like everything is just better. Combat, plot (the serious one, not boobas), MUSICS, availability of characters (free ones + "banners" rotations). No artifact to farm. Less time to complete (pointless) dailies. Endgame content enjoyable. The excuse of "the game is older" doesn't apply, on the contrary with their experience they could've made Genshin endgame/plot as good if not better than Honkai, but they actually aimed at another kind of audience, Genshin is much more of a happy/shonen/shojou world, while Honkai feels more seinen/josei surrounded by depression.
The game is loads of fun, but you have to do like you should with literally every gaming community: fucking ignore twitter. Seriously, the website is full of nothing but neckbeards and karens frothing at the mouth for the first opportunity to get butt frustrated about literally anything. Pay them no mind and enjoy your f2p botw.
I suddenly got this video recommended. I go to a random point. And then I hear such guy spell with no hesitant, regression as he didn't blinked stating "mommy milkers" Well there's many different ways to handle and manage reactions. So it depends on it. But you're a-OK! I still will hope the best for you eitherway!
I was just watching this for fun but holy crap when he recommended Evenicle I lost it lmaoooo. I Actually really love Evenicle, so much so that I played Evenicle 2 as well. Evenicle 1 has some pretty morbid stuff but the 2nd game was pretty tamed, So I suggest any downbad dinguses out there to try it out for themselves. Edit: Saw someone else pointing out Evenicle. Go watch Sseth's Evenicle video, it's insanely entertaining and introduces you into it's world.
