I couldn't aggree more.. First time i went there is around 2008, n last time was on april this year. I must say that i prefer the old theme park. It was like 1 big indoor dan outdoor theme park connecting with each other. Now there're like so many theme park in one place. We go here, there's a theme park. We go a bit further, there's another theme park. Are they connected? No. It was like there're 3 different theme park in one place. It loose it's originality i think.

Is the park theme finished and can we go playing or not

I think it will be named to skytropolis outdoor theme park. Since FOX doesn't want to license their brand here.

@@muhdikhmal99 so sad and bad. From endorsed by renowned international branding to unfamiliar local branding which is a mediocre factor to promote Genting to a higher level of promotion.

It is already known internationally even though Genting is a Malaysian brand.

@@gingerteddy618 i agree Genting is top brand in entertainment industry, and will be more awesome if can synergy with other top foreign brand like Six Flag, Universal Studios or Warner Bros at the very least.

@@muhamadsyamirulmus8459 actually Genting brand itself is internationally known as Resort World Sentosa, even in Miami, Vegas they are famous for casino property. I think it just needs a great marketing to attract visitors here even without FOX.

Ade isu dgn 20th Century Fox.. Asal nyer nk bt tema cmpany filem US tu. Mcm kt singapore. Genting kerjasama dgn Universal Studio.. Last2 cmpany tu lggr kontrak, tarik blik kerjasama.. Skang genting tgh saman blik cmpany tu, dan nk bukak taman tema bebas, konsep sendri..

The old genting is the best. The new genting is no different from a commercialised shopping mall.

No theme park...Genting only casino...boring. Got theme park...theme park is old and outdated. Build world class theme park... destroy natural charm, short vision management. People who love to complain never failed to amaze me.

@@jonathanhew2153 the existing Genting is over develop and lost the space for leisure . Yes surrounding is greens, but it's about the the existing space of a leisure stroll is gone forever. You understand!!!??? They had gone too far , should have make it moderately, it's possible, but they insists not to , because they want maximum profit revenue and as such rather sacrificing even a leisure place for public.

@@kokwah5517 OK, I may not be as old as you, but from what I understand the current genting is juz a renovated version of the old one, the outdoor theme park and first world plaza was demolished and rebuilt into what it is today. So, ur argument that it is over developed I feel is not exactly justified bcuz they didn't exactly expand the area by much. As for the leisure stroll part, I'm sorry to say that Genting is still a listed company in the end and have obligations to their shareholders, their cash cow is the casino, everything else that's on the mountain is purely to generate foot traffic regardless of it was in the past or present. A place for ppl to have a leisure stroll doesn't exactly attract foot traffic unfortunately.
