Gentle Manicure with Dazzle Dry ‘CEO’  

Filing nails in 1 direction rule has been debunked a while ago actually. What matters when it comes to the finish of the free edge is a grit and not direction. I finish with a buffer block on the free edge so the end if beautiful and smooth. As you can see non of my clients (and myself) have any issues with peeling. Also peeling comes from nail surface damage and not how the nail is filed on the end. Damaged nail is like a loose fabric. Very flimsy and fraying all the time. Strong and healthy nail is like a tight fabric that is reinforced with waxes and oils so it doesn’t fray. That’s why warm oil soaks are so important for damaged and peeling nails. Hi LadyJJ :) It's a glass cuticle pusher. I have the links in the description box. I'm using it on the nail plate though. Nail bed is the live skin under the nail plate.

@@TheSalonLife it isn’t. I’ve literally just qualified as a level 3 nail tech and was taught to never seesaw the natural nail, we would even be marked down for it.

I’ve been doing nails full time for almost 30 years. Many schools teach from very outdated materials sadly. Science is evolving always. The cuticle was removed with the cuticle remover. Brazilian manicures remove part of living skin which is called Proximal Nail Fold. Reference: schoonscientific.com/2019/whats-new-nail-anatomy-latest-facts/

Hi Ali! I have the links in the description box. I would highly suggest formal training in nail technology and also some kind of business training if you are thinking about starting a business. I suggest really coming up with some kind of business plan and brainstorming before jumping into this industry. This industry is very saturated with low quality services and the profit margins are very low. Very competitive and physically demanding business.

Your not suppose to put super close to your cuticle. Its how your nail polish gets chipped faster

Hello Elizabeth! I will be honest, every top coat will look very shiny at the beginning usually because it's not fully dry and it's plump with some of the solvents still. After that any top coat will fully dry and it will dull to some degree and it might scratch and shrink or pull away from the edges (some more than others). The reason why I choose DD is because it does not yellow the nails at all and it causes less surface damage compared with other polishes when worn all the time. You also cannot beat the 5 min dry. for those who don't read Russian: quoting "Learn from Russian masters how to do a manicure! Russian masters are the best in manicure!" Hello! Russian and Ukrainian nail technicians are without a doubt extremely skilled and detailed. They took the manicures to the next level for sure. But please realize, just like anything else in the world there is preference and not everyone expects or even likes the same thing. Some people are perfectly happy with less perfect manicure if that comes without cutting their skin in order to achieve certain look. Some people expect that and like that so they will go for a “Russian Manicure”, some prefer more gentle and natural manicure and they like my gentle manicures. I (and all dermatologists I speak with) find cutting and filing living skin very risky. Some people like playing Russian Roulette and I respect their choice and although I don’t think it’s a good idea to cut living ski and I personally don’t like the look, I don’t leave judgmental comments on their videos and pictures. It’s all about a choice and being clear with your clientele on what you offer. That is why I post videos of my work. People know exactly what they are getting.

I think there is a room for everyone in the world. I choose to work this way and many of my viewers do their own nails so I show what is possible with very simple, gentle, doable methods and skin care. I'm not trying to compete with Russian Masters :)

Мой домашний маникюр ближе к вашей методике - не агрессивно и не вызывающе. Но работы наших мастеров меня восхищают! Хотя, себе я такой делать не стала бы), только любоваться)
