Yes, but the interviewer asking all the questions here is Jon Gault of Letsrun, not an employee of CITIUS. Would be nice of CITIUS to acknowledge rather than giving the impression they were asking the questions
Hi Geoff, You probable don't remember me, I was a friend of Terry Graham and we used run for Dartford Harriers. Would please wish your son all the best from me as being an old ex runner I appreciate just what goes into achieving your goal. Good luck with the future. Harry Bell, I was the Scottish chap that with Terry.
I wish T&F got more coverage in mainstream media. We have so many amazing stories and even though there are pre event favorites, you never know until the very end what can happen.
Brave to go for it after it didn’t work out so well in Tokyo... takes guts! I like it - all or nothing, don’t settle. Good mentality. So pleased for them both 😊😊😊
Positioned himself to perfection at the bell and the surge at 300m was amazing! No one was passing him with 200m to go, 1:44 and 7:37 strength pays off.
If you can't be smug and proud, when your son just won such a big race against the best in the world then their was a nice correct time.He me at be so proud to f his son and himself and his coaching methods 🙌👍👍👍👍👍🏴🙌🙌❤️
Great race! I agree no reason to mention the commonwealth games which is a lower ranked tournament. Enjoy the moment as may never win another world's! Well deserved 👏
as a track fan for 35 years i still dont understand how a faster time in a shorter event helps you in the longer event and ive rarely seen it turn out to be proven. in any event.
Why did Jake choose to represent Scotland? He’s English, so is his dad, his mum’s Welsh, he went to university at Loughborough. I presume he chose to settle in Scotland. Strange though
His Dad worked for Scottish Athletics whilst Jake was at school in Edinburgh. Before that his Mum also worked in Edinburgh, because she coached me a few times as a teenager before Jake was even born.
I was wondering that but actually if your job relies on you being neutral about athletes and you fucking love your job, then I can understand a public nondisplay of emotion.
I think the explaination in the interview justifies his reaction. You have to be impartial but that also implies professional and this interview was conducted in a professional capacity.
@@peterpinsent9304 I never said I wanted anything and I put forward a possible reason why his response seemed so controlled. People can respond to events however they please Peter, don't get too emotional about it 👌
