Yes, but the interviewer asking all the questions here is Jon Gault of Letsrun, not an employee of CITIUS. Would be nice of CITIUS to acknowledge rather than giving the impression they were asking the questions

I wish T&F got more coverage in mainstream media. We have so many amazing stories and even though there are pre event favorites, you never know until the very end what can happen.

Positioned himself to perfection at the bell and the surge at 300m was amazing! No one was passing him with 200m to go, 1:44 and 7:37 strength pays off.

Hi Dad was a good runner - commonwealth marathon, his uncle was decent. But his Welsh mum and aunt were both Olympic athletes in 1988 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

as a track fan for 35 years i still dont understand how a faster time in a shorter event helps you in the longer event and ive rarely seen it turn out to be proven. in any event.

Why did Jake choose to represent Scotland? He’s English, so is his dad, his mum’s Welsh, he went to university at Loughborough. I presume he chose to settle in Scotland. Strange though

His Dad worked for Scottish Athletics whilst Jake was at school in Edinburgh. Before that his Mum also worked in Edinburgh, because she coached me a few times as a teenager before Jake was even born.

I think the explaination in the interview justifies his reaction. You have to be impartial but that also implies professional and this interview was conducted in a professional capacity.
