Ahhh this was a FUN episode to make, Morocco has such a wide range of fascinating yet unique traits unlike any other nation. Thanks to all you Moroccan geograpeeps that helped! Enjoy!
Here because Morroco got eliminated from the World Cup. Kinda feeling sorrow and missing them, their national futbol team made history, their players became legends. Im from Brasil, the greatest of all time in the sport, and they have conquest us 🇧🇷🇲🇦
Big love and respect to Brazil 💚💚 your team was amazing and absolutely legendary!! Their chemistry and energy is unmatched. Hopefully both of our teams will do better next time 🇲🇦💚🇧🇷
everyone do ur part dislike youtube rewind and sub to pewdiepie Edit: sorry guys i was brain dead a year ago (~dec 2018) sorry Edit2: ehh let this comment stay here tho
I lived in Belgium for four years and made sooooo many Morroccan friends while I was there!! Your country is full of warm, welcoming people and it's a place I've always wanted to visit!! Keep on rocking, greetings from Canada :D
Maybe if Moroccans were not exiled from iberia after 700 yrs of Muslim Spain, Mexican and other latin Americans would be Arabic speakers and not Spanish 🤔
@@yotsura2109 you need to keep your venom to yourself spreading vomit all over the comment section. Negativity in life has repercussions just to let you know
Yesterday's enemies are today's friends , in the life there is no eternal hostility Big love and Respect to our *Portuguese caralho* neighbors from Morocco
I've been in Morocco (Tanger, Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakech, Ait-Ben-Haddou, Todra Gorges, Tinghir, Desert, Fes, Meknes and Volubilis) for two weeks in 2018 and I loved it! I can't wait to visit it again! P.S. I've never drank so much mint tea in my entire life, I was addicted to it, even when it was 40 degrees 😅 Love from Italy 🇮🇹
Im from Morocco and thought "ugh this must be another video that only shows the desert and camels" but i was pleasantly surprised by the amount of research and accuracy of this video!! Love it
@EYAD ELHASSOUNI Stop saying French cheated, it just make you look like a loser. Refering was bad yes, and he omitted fouls on both sides, more important ones for morocco sure. But even with that, not sure we would have won. Just be proud and there is no disgrace in losing against the world champions.
Same but it's mainly because I'm of Arab descent (thus ignore quite a lot concerning amazigh/berber history) and I live in Europe (&when I got to Morocco during summer it's in the 3robia lmao).
Cause they had mutual interest, Morocco was fighting corsairs at that period, and their biggest target were USA trade ships, Europeans super powers like UK, France and Spain refused to help the USA. For USA, Morocco was a strategic ally with common goal. Both Morocco and USA trade with Europe, even tho corsairs didn't attack their ships (they attacked US ships as i said, and weaker europeans countries ships.)
Morocco such an amazing country and they even help us out doing our war for independents and is one of our oldest allies thank you my friend much love from the USA 🇲🇦🇲🇦🇺🇸🇺🇸🇲🇦🇲🇦🇺🇸🇺🇸🇲🇦🇲🇦🇺🇸
@@mrclaude5382 Your country still has the next world cup.😁, you guys did well regardless. Though you are still in the running for a podium position against Croatia.
@@greywolf7422 we should hype the fact that we are the first african and arab country to make to the final four ! We’re also proud of the fact that this united nations and people from different cultures and backgrounds, this is more than football to us, we’re proud of their journey, you should go check out how they were welcomed back in Morocco a week ago, and you’ll see pride in people’s eyes. Sometimes it’s not about winning prizes, but winning hearts of millions of people :).
This comment section is so heartwarming and wholesome!! Sometimes the internet can be an ugly place filled with hate and racism, but other times it can be filled with love and support. Sending love to everyone who loves Morocco in the comments 🇲🇦💚💚 you are more than welcome to come visit!!
You forgot to say that Morocco filmed the most famous films in the world, such as Game of Thrones, Kingdom of Heaven, Alexander, The Mummy, Gladiator, American Sniper, Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation, and more.
I love Morocco because it is a kind of country with deep traditions ,culture and delicious food and the people are beyond delightful here. I wish I could visit this country
Alright, with Morocco, I do have a friend who is natively Moroccan and I didn’t know much about it. But with my obsession with languages and cultures, I had to look up in Google, and I thought that Berber was only a type of carpet until I learned about the language and really want to learn some just to savor the language so I can say that I speak the beautiful language 😎 To any Moroccans, Assalamu Alaykom 💙
good luck with darija it's so complicated that it gets translated some words in arab get a whole diffrent meaning like "gafia" in arab it means hoping someone for good or luck but in darija it means fire

I think you did very well in this video because Morocco is a very tricky country. They have SO MUCH history like you could do a 2 hour video and still leave stuff out. I visited Morocco 2 years ago (but only stayed for 6 days) and it was honestly the best time of my life. They treat all their guests like family. Also the thing I liked the most is how educated they are, because they were able to tell I was Lebanese immediately after I spoke. I highly recommend Morocco if you are looking for ancient traditions and cultures. We consider them our Arab brothers but yeah they are very different from regular Arabs (which is a very fascinating thing).
Moroccans are literally not arabs at all, the culture is a mix of amazigh islamic euro-mediteranéan and a little african influence. Genetics also shows that the arab element in morocco is insignifiant less than 1 to 4% Turquey is more arab than morocco Thank u
@@amediteraneo4874 Maybe , but Morocco was a big empire , so maybe that's why Morocco has the biggest number of Amazighies , because the main Arabs stay at Algeria , Tunisia .. when Morocco got smaller by the Turkish and Europeans colonizations in the area
The Ibn Batuta you mentioned is a REALLY interesting person - he travelled the whole world in the 1300`s. Real geography hero - you should do a filler episode on him.

Joe Myk I went to saidia few months ago and close to the city you can see the other side of the border. Each side was packed with people laughing, giving away phone number and befriending. It was cute and sad at the same time.
