My problem with Magmatic Sanctuary is that the first half is really boring and then the second half is annoying with the invisible speed changes. It’s not hard it’s just not fun.

Personally for me, Magmatic Sanctuary is my favourite gauntlet level, the slow build up is so good and the speed changes aren't annoying for me, they make the level really fun and unique. And it's actually fire themed, although I'd actually put it in the Lava Gauntlet instead.

@@OworiXD don’t get me wrong the slow buildup is good in concept, but when you die several times at the end having to go through the slow and easy beginning again can get irritating very quickly. That’s probably why so many people hate it so much.

@@unnameablename dying several times at the end is your problem for being bad at the game it's a 7* dude the speed changes don't affect it because the level is still super easy to sight read, and like nichirin said they make it fun and unique good level, bad player

@@zbritishteaman hey, I only died a few times, and not everyone is going to be good at the game. If your level is aimed at a lower difficulty level, I think criticism from the point of view of a lower skill player is completely fair. It’s not like it’s a demon, it’s a 6 star level. My criticisms are from the point of view of a lower skill player and from that point of view dying at the end several times is not unreasonable. At lot of people seem to think that if you aren’t good at a game then your criticisms aren’t valid and that’s dumb. The problem is not the difficulty. As I said the level is not hard. The problem is the disparity in difficulty between the first and second half. Playing through a boring section multiple times can get frustrating fast. A lot of lower skill players will struggle with the second half. Also I specifically said the level is not hard and I didn’t say the invisible speed changes were hard, I said they were annoying. When I mentioned dying several times at the end, I wasn’t talking from a personal point of view there. I was explaining why many people hate the level, not myself.

as someone who is currently trying to beat ms, the only reason i hate it is because it has balancing issues and a boring, easy beginning that lasts for more than half the level. the speed changes aren't too bad, but they make the level slightly harder to play/sight-read and causes me to die there a lot, and then i have to play through the long, boring parts all over again

6:14 No, but I also know that I think NG needs to like, verify or do some other thing to a song creator before their song is allowed to be used on GD, and since songs above 6 digits are newer, the songs that can't be downloaded are more likely to have 7 digits than 6 Don't ask me what the specifics are on the NG stuff btw I have no clue, I just know that at some point I wanted to use a cool song I found on NG but the song wasn't able to be downloaded despite not breaking any TOS of either GD or NG

probably most people hate gauntlet levels because most of us played them before being good at the game (or even beating any demon) so they were actually hard
