Absolutely!! And, when you think about how he sets up the line with the Lydian sound and then contrasts it with that crazy sweep…. It’s amazing….. George shows us his genius here in so many ways. Hello! George recorded “Poinciana” and two other tracks as a sideman guest appearance on the incredible Jorge Dalto and Super Friends record “Rendez-vous” 1983 East World Japan. George plays on two more tracks here “My Latin Brother” and “Hotel Du Globe.” Interesting enough Barry Finnerty and Ted Pearlman also appear on the records other tracks too. The record is rare but you can find it in its entirety on RU-vid too.
