I’ve loved George Carlin most of my life, yet I still get surprised when I listen to old clips and hear how right he was about certain things. So much so that it often applies perfectly to our current social landscape

Here is another one, Alyssa Milano called women "birthing people". She did get called out for that, though. Doctors and incubators can be "birthing people" given their job.
@@LuigiTheMetal64 I did look that up, and I agree “birthing people” is a weird term but she has good intentions. Trans men can (and do) birth children, so not only women can give birth. I just think the term sounds so weird lol, but the TERFS came out of the woodworks on that tweet.
@@thewolfstarfire I find it so ironic and hypocritical that terfs don't want to be defined by child birth and will get insanely pissed at a term like "birthing people", but then they'll turn on a dime and say trans women aren't women because of their biology, which is basically saying that having a vagina makes you a woman. It's like: "those people aren't women because of their genitals, but don't you dare tell us that being a woman is about genitals"

@@FTWLiveMusicScene Your response makes no sense, and sorry to tell you this but George Carlin has stated many times that he agreed with feminist literature and the idea of feminism. He was always a left leaning guy, he just never liked the idea of censorship and any group that took itself too seriously. He would've made endless material criticizing and making fun of the modern leftists today to piss them off. He would've also hated the modern conservatives and the whole manosphere with a passion.

George Carlin was so brilliant. This was a legendary critique of 2nd wave feminism. The third wave has certainly become more inclusive and protective of people other than white chicks, but the rest of what he said still stands up so well.
