It is so good to hear my friend Eddie Hazel here. I met him right about this time in Sherman Oaks and we became fast friends. He wore that same hat all the time.. Damn why didn't I dig deeper on him back then I could have done a documentary,anything since I had total access to him.. !! RIP Ed

I miss Eddie so much. When I lived in Sherman Oaks I met him at the liquor store next door and he followed me home and we were fast friends but the thing was I just never knew the magnitude of him and his playing. He never let on,never talked about himself like that. He played for me in his apartment one time for 30 sec and he put it down. Never did I dream he was such a monster player until after his death and I came online in 2005.. RIP Eddie.

Say what you want to say about George Clinton he's was always with a smile and very approachible, I met him a couple of times up close Orlando FL house of blues with his son Tracy even help him with his luggage and got a back stage pass March 3, 2017, great dude. George is a fun person, one fun at a time !
