George, is one of the best jazz masters of all time. Sweet Baby, Rhyme or Reason, Shine On. Just to name a few I love.. You gave it your awe and it was sensational. Your music will play on.. Continue to RIH dear one.
Mr. George Duke is in a class of his own. There is no comparison to his genius on composing and arranging beautiful songs and to top it off such a beautiful angelic voice. RIH, Mr. George Duke and thank you for all the beautiful music you have bestowed upon the world!
This is real music. I use to ride in the truck with my Abuelo. He would blast this song and put his arms around my abuela and she would smile. RIP to both of them. This song reminds me of a good childhood and fond memories of mis abuelos. ❤
To be honesty with all the fellow audiences, I dont really listen to anymore R & B or Rock music nowsday. But George Duke and Stanley Clarke project really stands out from the crowd. What the differences between this song and all other musicians is that: George Duke sings about the truth, honesty and true, geniune feeling coming deeply from bottom of his heart. A striking masterpiece from the old days, few decade ago. George is no longer with ud today, but I remember his voice and his music lives on.
This was my favorite song by George Duke, he had a great voice, he was one of my favorite artist. A vocalist, musician, writer and producer. He wore some beautiful songs for other jazz musicians. A great man gone to soon. May he rest in peace🎤🎹🎺🎼🎻🎹 🎶🎶🎶
my favorite version of this song , especially when he improvises from about the 350 mark to about the 615 mark where the guitar player comes in ... the best thats all i can say
I thinking of this song, no coincidence’s. My father taught us very elective music , we don’t hear the passion nowadays . GeorgeDuke , God Bless your your soul. With Love , ✝️❤️🎵💃👠❤️🩹🙏
Definately ONE OF MY FAVORITE of all time!!! George will always be one of fews, Duke of the jazz romantic singers! R.I.P idol... What a sweet voice... With tears in my eyes.
This is better than the original recording. I love the way he cuts short "Again" as well as other words in this song it makes it his own--George Duke Spectacular...."I will always be right there by your side--Right by your side."
Living in the Bay Area back in the 70’s&80’s , I was truly Blessed to be able to be exposed to so many different musicians. George Duke was and will continue to be one of the best if not the best!! You left us with a lifetime of music to enjoy, RIP.
got to love this song. gives you a sense of serenity and an escape from lives daily grind and drama. heaven and earth is filled with excellent music now. thanks george r.i.p. buddy
Great job by sound techs mixing it all precisely so evenly and recording live from the main feed with heavenly deep, rich, resonate smooth bass rumble with a deep but sharp punch exclusively heard when actually attending a live concert.
You will live forever in our hearts Mr Duke. In my book you are remembered as one of the greatest composers of 21st century. No one had your special touch on the keys, or played such beautiful chordal phrases. Your harmony was heavenly, truly from heaven. Whether you were blowing on the "Duky stik" or playing keys for great R&B singers, you set yourself so far apart. What I will remember most is your beautiful and humble spirit. Inspired by Gods goodness, you shined brightly..May your music live forever!
